Actually, a frame by frame digital breakdown of the "score" does show the ball break the white chalk of the goaline. Did the ball ever make it into the blue paint of the Seahawks endzone? Of course not. I'll have to admit that the NFL rule that says the ball simply has to break the plain (In any case any part of the white line) is kinda screwy. As a lifelong Steelers fan, a win is nice but when it surrounds as much controversy as this one did it kinda takes away a little of the celebration.

Why do some Seahawks fans always say snow gave the Pack the advantage? I seem to remember the Pack playing the Seahawks in Seattle on MNF during the 2006 season IN THE SNOW, and Seattle won.

Seattle was "spotted" (notice the quotations) 14 points because they got both touchdowns so early in the game. So it was basically like Green Bay started the game down 14 points.

Packers did not practice in that much fuckin snow. Both teams played in the same weather so dont use it as an excuse. They lost now get over it. If the Seahawks wanted homefield adv. then they shouldve won more games during the regular season.

21 points, and that was our first game without mack strong. (AKA running game)
That means we had to rest the shoulder on matt hasselbeck for the first time, which he didnt do, but later in the season led the hawks to 5 game win streak without a good running game.
hopefully fixed in offseason.

Well then the Seahawks are a bad team if they cant learn to play through rough weather. Thats what the NFL is about; playing rough, in any kind of weather. And didnt the Seahawks beat the Packers in the snow before, in 2006? Im not bashing the Seahawks, but dont blame their loss on weather, or claim the weather as a disadvantage for them. That is just something that cant be controlled. If the Seahawks wanted homefield adavantage so badly,then they should have won more games in the reg season.

thats another thing, it was at home with about half an inch to an inch of snow.
this was away with about 3 inches and a blizzard.
theres just no way we could have prepared.

They are 4-1 and in first place in the AFC North.
If Seattle makes the post season it will be becasue the are in the Garbage NFC and worse NFC South.
Last year they won a divison title while still losing 3 in a row.
They are luck they only had to play the AFC once in the post season in '05 or they wouldn't even have been conference Champs.

The Cardnials are getting better but that's becasue the Have two Steelers coaches.
Pittsburgh's 8-8 in '06 was a playoff record in the NFC, and the Seahawks only went 9-7 in a worse Conference.
