@TheBobnalyd Well spotted - I've often scratched my head over this one. My information came from the sleeve notes. Certainly the 7 boogies on this LP feature Ivor on the guitar, and I have always assumed he switched to the banjo for the 7 rags - a great talent. Thanks for the interesting comment.
@IVORIESMAN I used to work for the late Ivor at the Ivor Mairants Musicentre in the late 60`s. Happy days.I went to check it out a couple of years ago and they had an old tape of Ivor there. I asked if I could buy it and they fished out a copy from the back room for me. I couldnt believe how good he was. I always underestimated him while I worked there but in his heyday he was a hot player and a very lyrical composer. I think I lent the tape to Tony Oreshko the Gypsy Jazz vrtuoso. lol...Mick
@TheBobnalyd How fantastic to have worked with such a musical icon. It would have been great to have chatted to him about the recording sessions with Winnie. So many questions.......Many thanks for sharing.

Sounds more like a ukelele banjo Ivor is playing there.

My Mother used to play this to my sister and I. She loved Winnie. The 50's were great for us.
Thanks so much for posting.

@tremackie Glad to be of service - this music will live forever, something which sadly cannot be said of much of today's offerings.
Thanks for listening.
