I think the reference is to SS GENERAL Herman Fegelein. Fegelein married Eva Braun's sister ( so that makes him and Hitler in-laws?)

Anyhow, Fegelein was caught going AWOL with huge wads of money in his pocket. He was also cheating on Eva's sister. He was arrested by SS trying to escape Berlin and executed for treason by Hitler in April 1945 Fuhrerbunker.
