what one hit mate? while berlin chair is one of their most notable songs, to say it was their only hit is ludicrous! Berlin Chair didn't even appear on the arias chart, unlike latter hits cathy's clown (1995), soldiers (1996) and get up (2001) for instance, and while it was 23rd in that years hottest 100 (1994), that was equaled by damage (2001) and surpassed heavy heart respectively (1998). One hit wonders, mate they are far from it and they are truly one of the worlds great rock bands.

mate i cant agree with you that "all aussie music totally sucks balls", there are some killer bands in aussie music right now, but i do enjoy silverchair and think they deserve their 20 arias and 5 number 1 albums, its not about how silverchair have been more successful than you am i commercially but that they far from suck and are one hit wonders, and this is my point, their success in not only measured in awards and record sales but influence on the aus music industry as a whole.
