All I had to see was 10 minutes of the first Transformers, and the trailer for the 2nd movie to know this whole franchise is a huge pile of shit. The popularity of these movies is exactly why so many newer movies coming out are dumbed down and rely on flashy special effects instead of a well thought out story and intelligent dialogue.

I mean yeah College isn't filled with Super Models, but just remember, when Hollywood goes for the "ugly" types they go for "Hollywood Ugly" which isn't that ugly.
That said, I didn't really like the transformers 2 movie. I thought the fight scenes were to close to the camera, and the humor was immature. they also needed more focus on robots.

@dragon1130 If I had to take a guess about the hot women complaint, I'd say that we wanted the college scenes to be more realistic. A lack of realism takes viewers out of the movie. I challenge anyone to find a dorm with a Mountain Dew machine in it. Seriously, there's product placement and there's putting a billboard in the scene that's taking up 1/5 of the screen.

Yeah, I'm on the critic side. This movie was lame. The action sucked ass. Megan Fox is an ugly woman who behaves like a bitch, which would be okay if she could act. And, yeah, the action, which only made up about 10% of the fucking movie, was crap. I don't give a fuck about the US army when I want to be watching robots fight!! And it is NOT too much to ask that the script for a multi million dollar film AT LEAST makes fucking sense. Shit film. HUNDREDS of better action films.

It's not trying to be epic or a masterpiece, it's just 90 minutes of Arnold killing badguys and spouting one-liners in a classic 80s manner.
And as for Megan Fox...I don't see what all the fuss is about personally. Guess I have a different taste.

The problem here is that this movie managed, in almost an artistic manner, to make every single one of these things absolutely BORING.
I've got like three peices of Media from each genre that are better worth your time.
Giant Robot fights- Evangelion (Don't even have to put up with the psycho shit, just skip to the fights)
Explosions- Die Hard.
Hot chicks- ANY OTHER MOVIE WITH HOT CHICKS.
Or better yet, watch the first TF movie.

I h-hhh-hhhhated the parents! They were in that movie not because of the parents watching - no! Because in that case watching parents would think parents are nuts - by default! As if gras is unknown to 50 year old laydies. Anyways, the stereotype characters sucked balls, the 'love' topic was stupidly told and the a the old robot was overdone.
