Why do they need to be one nation?
Nations aren't just created out of the imagination of the few. What are the political forces that dictates that this union is even needed? What are the benefits of this union? If you say it is merely to end conflict, you will be sadly mistaken.

It will NEVER happan. As an Israeli who was born and raised in Israle, I can tell that the two nations are SO different from each other, in morals, culture, religion, identity, language, and nationality - and will NEVER be united. Israel is the only Jewish state in the world. We have the right to keep our identity. Palestinians are Arabs, and Muslims. There are 20 Arab countries and 50 Muslim countries. I am all for peace - but a peace that would preserve my identity and not destroy my country.

Why not just call it Israel and rename the current Israel portion, Judea and rename Palestine, Samaria.
Reasons why?
Palestine is Hebrew for Barbaros which is Greek for Invaders.
Palestinians are only allowed to be called Palestinians, because the Jews have no problem with it. And if you know what the word means, it you would understand why Jews have no problem with it
To the Jews, Arabs are invaders. So it is only fitting to call them Palestinians, a word that derives for P'leshtim

it's true, but this anthem was written many years before Israel's independence, when the dream was to have a nation for Jewish people(like there are nations for Christian people, and many countries for Islamic people).
it is also written in a very high language which makes it hard to understand.
my relative is 6 years old, and she can sing the anthem very well, but she doesn't understand a word.

I think both sides should gave up their extremism and like together :). And anyway there were also jews who did not like this video... as I said there are unfortunately extremism on both sides :(

This isn't to diminish Palestinian suffering, which is real, but one million!? Not even close. The Arab-Israeli conflict is actually one of the least bloody in modern times. More people died in Chechnya over two years than have died in Israel/Palestine over 60 years.
