How did you do the part where the headcrab canisters actually crash into the ground and open?

That was a SWEP (scripted weapon). All I did was click and they flew in.
Check out the facepunch forums some time, theres loadsa stuff there.

UBER funny: but it seems you have the same problem as I do: if an object is even starts getting far away, it vanishes.
