Wow, it sucks that a parent like Dr. Fleischer having to go through that. We came from a long way and still have a long way. Looking back I recalled when my son was little, they labeled language delay and I had to object to it since nothing relating to ASL was mentioned. So much have changed today since there is ASL component in the IEPs keeping track of strengths and weaknesses just like hearing children's strengths and weaknesses in English.
