I am buddist but I never differenciate betn any relegion. I belive path of the every God and religion is same just the way people following is different so why we fighting for nonsence things. So, people don't be negative on any religion,, please respect each other..

before the council rome was a melting pot of religions from every part of the empire. before that alexander the great conguered all the way to india so very eastern and asian thoughts about religion and probably hinduism also was brought into the greco-roman culture enter the historical jesus do we know who jesus really is im not an expert but it seems to me that early christianity was very dynamic very personal and very open minded so i respect buddhism more as well for being the same way

after some thought i have quit my church bashing myself because i believe that early christianity was a very personal and esoteric religion almost like buddhism when the the emperor constitine convined the council of niceia which basically said this is what we(christianity)believe and don't believe this is what's canon and this is what's not this is evil and this is good. all conspiracy theories aside they basically turned an esoteric and personal religion into an exoteric state religion

@burkspatrick christianity and Buddhism are unlike one another in just about every aspect. Buddhism is a philosophy and doesn't insist that you believe in anything including a god. Buddha was simply a man who figured out how to free his mind. Christianity is an offshoot of paganism, including human sacrifice. I understand how you could make this comment, however, as I was once this uninformed about the subject myself.

@burkspatrick christianity is always personal, when you read your bible it is always a personal look on things... i like the bible alright, but either anyhow whatever... buddhism has been edited and recorded just if bad IF NOT worse than christianity... it is within our own minds that we find what we really look up to, what can we really save aside from all other things and say god.... and how do we do it, and when we do it, what should we be doing, and being done, how do we continue, ect. ect.

both forms of christ and guru rinpoche are strikingly similar.
