I hope she's doing well. Her little man needs her. Beautiful woman, who had a very effed up life. Rock on...Nikki. It breaks my heart that her mother passed. I lost my dad 2yrs ago. Still in the grieving process. But the fear I have about loosing my mother is disabling. I hope she has a wonderful support system in place. We all eff up. And that's ok in my book. We all cope with life differently. Life beats the shit out of you. It takes strength to carry on as powerfully as she did.

i was living in USA for this season. now back in OZ. so sad for her. i do wish her the best. her and kelly were my favorites that year. she always gave 100% and always had a smile on her face.

i hope you get better for your son and the two of you have a happy life :)

My guess is she suffers from some type of eating disorder; probably binge eating. Sure, drinking heavily can cause weight gain but I think there's more to it than that.

I hope she does keep getting the help she needs. She has a son if I'm not mistaken.

I thought "what a dumb comment" about the eating disorder, then I checked out your profile and understood. Um....often people who are very skinny during their teens and early twenties will gain weight when they get older. It's called....aging.

So is her jaw grinding due to coming off drugs or did she always do that? Is that a symptom of cocaine or what kind of drug? It is sooooo noticable on the show until I wonder if it will ever go away.

It could be a side effect of the meds she's on. Cocaine is not going to cause jaw grinding like that and especially if she's not using it. It could also be something completely unrelated that she's always had. Keep in mind we've only seen her all dolled up and pre-packaged for Idol. Now we're seeing her at her darkest hour.

weight change is probroley cause she was on idol during 2002 and now she has been on celebrity rehab 2008 someone could chsnge in 6 years
