If you blow up the base, the explosion is red

If you keep the base, the explosion is blue

So i see it as the paragon choice is the renegade choice and the renegade choice is the paragon choice

and WTF my gamne ended TOTALLY different! first of all, Shepard makes it, because there was a brick fallen down killing the enemies, so Joker can get Sheppard onboard, and then fly away, after that i confronted The Illusive Man with the fact that he KNEW all about this, and he knew about the reaper, you get pissed off, and turn off the console and head for the ship, and look out of the window and sees all the reaper ships comming in, that was my end of the game :s

@Pureroller he did a weird ME2 ending. You can't import your game into the third one if you die. Most of the time, people will live through this as they do some of the loyalty missions

@lakecityransom hav u finished the game? if u listen the illusive man offers Shepard to use a radioactive shockwave that wipes out all life on the base but still leaves the base unharmed. thats why all the ships in the hologram are going to it. they are gonna use the base on the reapers.

The end-scene was just about the most suspenseful thing I`ve ever seen ina game, I was biting my nails when I wasnt playing. Harbinger`s lines as Shepard and co. escaped the Collector-base was just epic with the music and all. It all builds up to a ME3 that`ll probably blow you away. I felt a little bit sad for the Collector general though, the look on his face when he realized he was just a tool being used and scrapped by the Reapers. Awesome game, great casting and script!

anyone for escort but Mordin is best because he has highest chance of dying while holding the line

i just finished the game today... miranda and the robot geth died... they were both not loyal... I wanted to regain miranda's loyalty but I didn't know how (I lost her loyalty in a discussion she had with Jack). I guess if a use my save game in ME3 miranda won't be in the game? :(

@Megadeth6633 Obviously Miranda won't be back. After you lose the loyalty after both of their conflicts Miranda v Jack, Tali v Legion.. If you fail to persuade them then.. you need to max out your renegade or paragon then talk to them again to convince them..

Also the one going through the pipe has to be either Tali or Legion, nobody else can force the door open fast enough and gets shot in the face.

The two of your crew who get to accompany Shepard during the fight against Reaper Larva...simple: either one(or both) who is not loyal is killed by falling debris when the station begins to fall apart.

But...how do you get Shepard to die? Never happened to me, always survived

It's possible to make sure everybody survives. Crew has to be loyal and most of ship upgrades are necessary. Someone capable of leadership(Miranda/Jacob) has to lead the second team in order to save the one who gets to go through the pipe. Not sure about escorting the crew, I sent Jacob with them, all of them made it. Good biotic has to maintain the bubble(Jack or Samara/Morinth). As for guarding the door... you have to leave those who are good at holding the line behind(Grunt, Zaeed, Garrus).
