If they didn't want him they shouldn't have hired him to start with. It especially takes the piss that they jobbed him out and now Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris are in Nexus and getting huge face time when they both lost the show.

@DUCETEAM2D First of all, the fans wanted him, they voted him to win. Much like most guys in WWE, he wasn't allowed to use all his potential. If you saw him in Japan, TNA, PWG, ROH and the other places he has worked you would know he is an incredible athlete and wrestler. Goldberg was just another big man in a big man's industry, he was not special. So what if his finisher was a kick (top rope mind you) how many guys use the ddt or piledriver?

Low Ki is incredibly entertaining he just never got a decent chance. The writers are awful in WWE, fact, they rarely push the guys with talent that are over with fans and overuse top guys.

He got his character over by himself, he got the fans backing without being on tv, they went to his hometown (where there were deafening chants for him) and they didn't use him because they feared he was more over than their top guys. If the fans want someone, use them. WWE puts mic skill over talent anyway.

@XCWDrake on wwf metal, they did this ALL THE TIME due to this show only showcasing mid carder's and jobbers and showing highlights from raw and smackdown but there were still some pretty good matches from this show as evidenced by this one. i'm still looking for the match from metal between al snow and essa rios [a forgotten classic]
he still seems to be able to go in the ring though. I saw him jump off a scaffold onto a table at his age and weight nowadays in a match against Lodi in some indie company, a shame TNA doesn't use him in matches more.

Watching these matches really made me think about how they could have used this talent. They could have gave each of the Radicalz an apprentice to establish both of them. I imagine Lo-Ki with Chris Benoit, Samoa Joe with Dean Malenko, perhaps A.J Styles with Saturn or Eddie but I can't think of a 4th; maybe Essa Rios?

He was offered a spot, just a few years later, thats the way it goes sometimes, kinda like job applications. Right now Low Ki is in FCW, which is WWE's developmental territory, he would have been called up sooner but he got injured. He's back now and I'm pretty sure he's gonna be on the next NXT. His FCW matches are on YouTube, they are pretty awesome, you should watch his matches with TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd) and Bryan Danielson.
He did try to sue WWE though, that might leave some bad blood between him and Vince, if Vince thought he could make a lot of money off him he'd probably take him back but it doesn't seem like Vince has had that much confidence in him in the past

@ShaneMullaney That's all secondary shows do. They whore their main show while talking about the main match for two seconds. It inadvertently did everything possible to make sure Low Ki was immediately forgotten and tossed out of the WWE like uninteresting trash.
The WWE probably didnt sign him because of the new influx of talent from the WCW. Then they proceeded to bury all that talent because Vince takes everything personally. Wrestling sucks now compared to the 80's & 90's. The women are all hotter and some of the stories are damn entertaining...but the in ring stuff sucks shit.
I'm so glad to see someone who has noticed Vince's use (or lack there of) for ECW and WCW wrestlers, he got rid of some of the greats, before giving them a chance.
Lets not forget how he missuses the TNA talent. I still feel bad for Wildcat Chris Harris.The guys who usually get Vinces big pushes in WWE are the ones who Vince can get over as guys he discovered. Lowki had had many wwf fights before this one, Essa Rios was the 1st who also wrestled Samoa Joe too, I had read Lowki was too stiff and they would have to heavilly water down his offence

@ShaneMullaney That's all secondary shows do. They whore their main show while talking about the main match for two seconds. It inadvertently did everything possible to make sure Low Ki was immediately forgotten and tossed out of the WWE like uninteresting trash.

The WWE probably didnt sign him because of the new influx of talent from the WCW. Then they proceeded to bury all that talent because Vince takes everything personally. Wrestling sucks now compared to the 80's & 90's. The women are all hotter and some of the stories are damn entertaining...but the in ring stuff sucks shit.

Lets not forget how he missuses the TNA talent. I still feel bad for Wildcat Chris Harris.The guys who usually get Vinces big pushes in WWE are the ones who Vince can get over as guys he discovered. wwe missed a huge chancewith both lowki and raven the fans where really into this match and more importantly they loved raven just listen to the crowd reaction at the start and lowki could have brought something new to WWE cruiserweight division but raven was a severly under-used character who had the skill to be the heavyweight champ but they stuck with the same 6 (jericho,the rock,triple H,angle,austin,taker) this is when WWE was good and unpredictable but now its always the same raven rules!!

This wasn't a particularly good match even for a Metal match in back around the millenium.
Check out Low-Ki v Essa Rios or Taka vs Christopher Daniels for excellent sister show matches.

I don't know if he was WWE title worthy at this time because their main event was loaded. I thought he could have main evented in WCW though because all their guys were old and washed up when he was there back in 98. Except for Goldberg all their main eventers were old as dirt. Oh well. Raven will always be an ECW legend.
