lol if you have pc you can enable "noclip" which means you can fly around and you go through walls. you also become invisible to turrets etc.

The best way to get to the cake is to download Source SDK and make ur own portal mape and place cakes everywhere :D!

Then have some ambient_generic that plays still alive ;D

ALRIGHTY. the other map you speak of is most likely the -skybox- its an area that gets projected around the outside of the real map for looks. the real map ends before the projection of the skybox begins. usually to show buildings above a wall if the wall is the end of teh map. This case is to show the backdrop of the pine trees when you are at the ending cutscene. Enjoi.

there is a easyer way to get outside what you do is turn on the portal placemet cheat on then shoot a portal thru the door where u where at at 3:29 then u are under the outside bit to get to ground level u need to go to where the posts are at the boundries and shoot a portal up then ur out :D

yup this does work. If your game is freezing just be careful how much you move once you are outside the map, don't go out any further than you absolutely have to and it should work

I play Portal: Still Alive on the 360. I've gotten to the cake room via a portal glitch by the catwalk above the Turret Ambush Room. Basically, what you did in 3:48 . But outside? I need some help with.

@Om4rG4rc14 exactly. that is what we need to do. except we need to coat ourselves with extremely heat resistant cloth, and then jump down there. The Companion cube was nowhere near destroyed. it was only dropped in to the cake room because it's melting point is far above 9001 degrees Celsius. We need to get flame resistant suits that can protect us from up to 2000 degrees Celsius. If we get to that then we can quickly jump in to find the companion cube waiting for us!
