what version are you using, and will this still work on 1.0.5?

@sabremaster253 Im not sure. I made this back in 1. 0. 1 or 1. 0. 2. Im not sure if they have messed with lava and water physics recently, but It cant hurt to try it. There are numerous better ways to get obsidian now, ive seen people with really awesome factories and stuff. Just throwing that out there, let me know if it works :P

@youdeli2 i tried it and it worked thanks, and the obsidian makers is kinda exploiting a glitch cause it dupes water and lava, you mind as well use an inventory editor. i wanted a way which didn't do this so thanks once again

@sabremaster253 ah cool! thanks, I havn't been playing much terraria lately (other than multiplayer) so I actually hadn't checked to see if it still worked. Glad to know it does though, dont want people hating me because it stopped working :P

@MrAwsmenss I wanna say its 3 iron bars? Im not positive, it could be more, it could be less, but I know for sure its some amount of iron bars.

@tengu230 Thanks! Glad to see its helping some. I was worried this video would get flamed by people who were lucky enough to have water extremely close to lava, making it easy. I was not so lucky haha. :D

@AceDaH4XX0r Thanks! I hope this helps out. It really is a useful way to get a good amount of obsidian, not as good as flooding the mine, but you have to be lucky for that to work.
