Nice presentation, tough the common goal part, and their complaining about 'stolen' code sounds a bit far out. Afaik BSD code can be just simply taken out, and released under a different licence. (correct me if I am wrong here). So why complaining, if anyone else is using their code, which got released under a different licence?

BSD code can be taken out and released under a different license. But you can not remove the existing license and copyright notification. This was done by the madwifi team before it was caught and rectified.
