If I go for the extra 2 monitors I will have enough money to buy another MSI HD 6950 Twin FrozR III. Please reply with your opinions on the matter. I play Shooters, RPGs, MMORPGs (World Of Warcraft) and RTS games. Thanks guys!
Hate to be "that guy" , but if you were going to simulate eyefinity on one screen, then why didn't you do a 9 monitor type array on the screen to cover the whole screen, but see 9x as much content.
When I start up the game having the settings.ini set to read only, it makes the resolution just like yours but when it gets to the main menu it defaults back to a standard resolution....Can you please post a full guide?

I got a single monitor of 1680x1024, a Radeon HD 5870, an i7 processor of 2.80 GHz and still can't play Bad Company 2 on max settings with 60 to 50 FPS all the time and using a resolution of 1280x960.
I don't understand this crap if my computer, that is considered awesome by some people, can't run BC2 with a single monitor...
get a HD beamer with the panels set up right, the software could do the rest... still,. The Alienware curved monitor is the coolest/most beautiful solution i think :)
basically you just set the windows theme to all black, autohide taskbar, black borders everything. Then open the setting.ini under documents, bfbc2.. change fullscreen mode to false, and set the resolution width to whatever your default for your lcd is, for example 1680 or 1920, then set the height to around 400 (you can use any number, i just like 400) You now have a mini eyefinity.
as nice as it looks, its not the same. the whole purpose for eyefinity is resolution and immersion. the immersion factor is increased because of the angled screens while using the higer resolution. all you did was make your widescreen wider..
@asdffdsa1234 The "bezel" is the fucking plastic case on the monitor, retard. There IS a bezel there. Also, the width isn't what makes it eyefinity. Multiple wrapping monitors are what make it eyefinity. Go fucking die in a fire, you waste of oxygen.
exactly, i hear you man. this isnt eyefinity at all.. plus the screen horizontally is much smaller. it would be harder trying to spot people in the distance. the purpose of eyefinity is multimonitors like you said rogue071.

hey man , i wanna try this. After I set the res in the .ini, i save and start the game but it resets to a normal setting , 1024 x 768 I think. How did you get the settings to stick?
the beginning of the video is on a 22" monitor, the end of the video is on a 52" hdtv. Impress your friends with an AWESOME eyefinity setup with NO BEZELS!
Honestly, the hdtv feels even better than the 3 monitor setup I had last week. Don't waste your money on some $100 adapter or 3 monitors if u have a single hdtv !

My i7 2600K @ 4.7 gig - 16gig 2200 Mushkin & crossfire 6970 setup can run anything on max settings @ 6048 x 1080... Eyefinity rocks!

With my 24.825'' monitors in eyefinity I get a total of 65.355'' of viewing space including bezels. That also includes a resolution of 5960x1080.
A 50'' TV will give you a viewing space of about 44'' and only 1920x348 resolution; maintaining the same aspect ratios.
