This is also know as the "blue label discount" It comes with an extra mag (3 total) and can be ordered straight from Glock. They will however charge you shipping and will have to ship to an FFL. Should in the end be no more than $420-$450 when everything is all said and done. This goes for ALL Glocks, ALL generations and ALL numbers. Just a little FYI, cheers!

I don't care what the history of the manufacture is unless they give a innovative ergonomic product which the gen iv is. I don't know what any Gen 4 G!7 hater is talking about. I just got the Model 17 Gen 4, and ran 235 rounds of 115, 124 grain 9mm FMJ. Not one jam, not one failure to feed. No problems. It's as reliable as a typical glock, but with a much smoother recoil. the haters are full of it.

They use the same one in the gen 4 G22 with the same spring weight. not smart if you ask me. they just want to be cheap and have parts commonality and it seems to have backfired a bit. Got mine (G-22) last week. I think the changes were needed and they definitely make the gun more comfortable to shoot. IMO the felt recoil has been reduced by between 20 to 30%. The recoil feels just a little more than my 3rd Gen G17 (9mm). The jury is still out on the mag catch for me. I much prefer the extended mag catch on the G34/35.

Why switch to a double captive spring, the original 9mm full size and compact cycle great. because the 22 & 23 cometimes have issues, dont redesign the 17 & 19. Buy a gen 3 while supplies last!

They screwed up the 17 trying to make the 22 run correctly with a light attached. That's the reason for the new recoil spring design. The new spring is supposed to make the 22 run more reliably when you attach a light to the rail.

In the process they put the same spring, weight and all in the 17. Stupid move.
