I am not religious at all, so can't see there was anything resembling a miracle because they just don't exist. The reason she could talk and I say this having only just heard her start to speak, was because if the vocal chords were damaged, the time spent waiting to come round and all done with her throat wrapped up, may well have helped.

I like how, despite all the evidence to the contrary, people think that someone is "normal" just because they are married and have kids- both in politics and society as a whole. It's particularly ironic how prevalent this idea is in the States.
