  • is the yota street legal?

  • @02superrider Here in California, yes it is legal. There is a stipulation on the height, if it is to high, you have to put on mud flaps, and at times, lower the head lights, as the cops measure from the ground to the bottom of the headlights. All you have to do is call the local DMV for the limits in your area.

  • Fuck face

  • @oldhawkins my front shaft is made from 2" od square receiver hitch stock and 2.5" od square 1/4" walls with my yokes welded in. I can slip it almost 3 1/2 ft. I can drive my shit on the trail and road pretty fast with no vibration in 4wd. Made by eyeballing it. Some people can weld and fab better than others. My rear shaft isn't balanced and I've never had u joint or vibration issues I can drive it 75 with 37" tires.

  • Good stuff man this is the kind stuff i dooo all day at work also bro.. peace out man

  • Hey Dan, how about using some of that "Bed Liner paint" you put on the Apache steps up indide Sam's rear bumper and wheel arches to repelle the dreaded crud....?

  • That is an excellent idea, except I haven't done that to any of the other sides just yet, but if it becomes an issues, I will deffinately do that.

  • cool............

  • like i said before if its welded true it will require ZERO balancing. hopefully it will work out good for you guys! it looks good. thats one project i've always wanted to try (making my own driveline) if this one doesnt work out for some reason i know that you can make drive lines out of smaller diameter solid steel stock. it looks weird but it beef! i know a guy who made one on his hemi coupe and it will wheel stand =) now hurry up and show us how it works out!!

  • Sooooooooooooon, I can feel the ground shaking now........muuuuuhahahahahahahaaaaaa!

  • @phrygian360 factory explain to me "welded true"? drivelines are welded by automated welders. Its impossible to hand weld a driveline and have it NOT need to be balanced. Welding it by hand, you cannot know how much "weld" is being laid all the way around....it will without a doubt need to be balanced, i dont care how good a welder you are. Dont believe me? Weld one yourself and take it down the highway at 75 miles an hour and we will see how long your u -joints last.

  • its unbelieveable how much freaken work you guys do in a run of a day. good work guys. great videos to watch.

  • Thanks

  • BAD ASS Yoter

  • It's freaky looking, and has some crazy low gears.
