I agree with the below comment, hes must have been transformed then disconnected during a survey quest ( since here its zangarmarsh, most likely looking at the steam pumps quest ). He lied about the flying mount to make himself look "l33t". Plus if he WAS a gm he would be flying alot faster.

@ClayTongues Actually, this was during Burning Crusade beta on the official beta realm. Back then, normal flying mounts only flew at 60% speed.

Nah i know this one , its a bug that is found on mostly all private servers where the quest's objective is to survey the place , ure supposed to turn into an owl or something and then fly arround. Its just a silly bug :P

If he was "bugged" on his flying mount it would show the icon of the mount he was on before the "dc". he is either a GM or using WEH that is the only way this is possible.and none of those happen or work on retail so this is a private server. and as we all know private servers are the best :P

I did this with druids on 2.3.0. Idk if it still works, but when a druid is on a gryphen, he can shapeshift and be swimming in the air as a cat, moonkin etc.

try this if u being sommoned to a place where mounts cant be used f.k coilfang. then go on ur epic mount and then u getting sommoned go off it and then i desconnect and then u can run foever with epic speed :D

I realized AFTER I turned in the quest... Of what would happen if I attempted to use my Hook of the Master Angler while doing this. *Shrug* The trinket probably wouldn't work but it would've been worth a shot to try and see if I could be a flying fish...
