in Vietnam mostly of the women still have long hair, thats so nice. unlike in Thailand where you see many Girls with short hair these days. It's so sad. They definitely look more beautiful with long hair, i think.

A woman can look good with short hair, but something about having long hair on a woman is beautiful even if the woman is not considered beautiful her hair will make her beautiful. I never knew how important long hair was but now that I've gotten older I've kept my long hair only trimming. <--full viet raised in america.

This is a really good example of a cliche "Less is more", in the case of showing little to no skin at all. Very similar to the Qipao or Cheongsam in China, the Ao Dai really shows the elegance of a lady....but too bad our modern western influences have nearly made this and the Cheongsam nearing extinction, unless it's a banquet or wedding.

I am a vietnamese who live now in France. Ao dai give vietnamese women many advantages beacause to wear it we should always pay attention to our body. I am 35 year olds and two children but people here told me that I was just 20 year olds. And I think that thank for vietnamese costume, food and esprit of excecise.

And this is a song that talk about a boy flirt a girl and the girl lies her parents about their love story. It is very fun

@NewMeNow2000 Vietnamese Ao Dai is costume fit/tailor. Ao Dai is can be worn by all ages (young & old) ,all size and shape (skinny or fat). Pregnant people could still wear ao dai because the pants inside is made with elastic waist (stretchable) or switch out the pants if they have an oversize belly. Ao Dai hides the fats for over weigh people and show the curves in slim people. They even have the MALE version of ao dai too.

Although I prefer baro't saya or Filipiniana. This traditional wearing makes Vietnamese look tall, slender and sexy.The visibility of Women's natural curves are really seen because the slit, ends above their waist. This is one of the simplest yet delicate traditional dress I've seen while touring major SE asia (except indonesia) . The only thing I'm afraid of is the color, there are all white. One peck of dust, can be seen easily through our naked eyes.

No, in fact ao dai trang (white) is only uniforme in school in Vietnam. There are many colors and styles. We can make a "picture" :)

I did said "uniform".. then again, uniform is a short term of school uniform ...usually here.

I've seen other Vietnamese clothing, I think it's Ao tu than? And.. isn't it hot? I did wore white gala uniform (a uniform use when having a holy mass in school) it has long sleeves and long skirt, 3 inches above ankle, and heck, it's HOT! and the weather here is the same as Vietnam if I remember right... so how did you guys.. I mean girls, can ease the warm weather? O___o"
