If you were to buy any book on stage hypnosis(for less money than Zap) it would have ten times the information and would give you a better understanding of how it works and how you can use the trance more effectively. another deepener is to gently rotate their head in a circle as you are saying the deepener, this seems to take them deeper more effectively than using verbal instruction only. Also try bringing him out then immediately putting him back into trance, repeat over a number of times, the confusion created is also a great deepener. He didn't cluck so prosumably he was hypnotised but in a lighter state than required for this post hypnotic suggestion. Well done, keep practicing till he clucks, barks...

Hi, Why is it the induction method is hard to understand? Is it just by asking your participants to be relax, and then you on the other side only have to be confident in order to put the subject in trance mode? I feel kinda skeptical about how to do the induction method, can you teach me please?

when doing hypnosis your intent is very important...you must come across confident and expect and picture the person going into trance.

infact most hypnotists if not all must actually take themselves into a trance too.

remember to make people cluck like chickens they must be suggestible to an extent and there are many suggesstibiity tests on youtube that you could probably carry out to test this.

the person that it is most effective on will go under pretty quickly.

Just make sure the expectation is there and that your intent is firm.

Have your eyes pointed at the person, but adjust your focus so that what is in the background is clear to you. The person you are looking at will appear blurry to you, but the background will be in focus.

The chicken thing didn't work because you tried taking him out of trance TOO QUICKLY, he was still in trance. You have to let him wake up completely, the subconscious suggestion will still be imbedded in his mind.
