Speedup programs can be dangerous. Even softwares like TuneUp Utilities and Auslogics BoostSpeed. I personaly don't use them cos' i always end up reinstalling Windows because the software deletes important files.

If you want two free good softwares then try these:

CCleaner

Auslogics Disk Defrag (Doesn't really matter what defrag software you use but the one that comes with windows is slow)

this does slow you computer down IF you have anti spy ware or virus things like i do because the anti virus thing might not be compatible with it or somin like that so then it trys and it does but then slows down your comp so make sure you have a anti cirus thing that is compatible with it then you will be free with a happy speedy computer :)
