Hovind and Missler's "doctorates" are from unaccredited schools ran by people with unaccredited degrees. That means the degrees have no merit in the academic community. Hovind purchased his "doctorate" from a "school" ran out of someone's home.

Want to know how much Hovind's "education" is worth to people who are literate?

I'll quote from the opening of his "dissertation" from the unaccredited school/home he purchased it from, named, Patriot Bible University:

"Hello, my name is Kent Hovind. I am a creation/science evangelist. I live in Pensacola, Florida."

That introduction would earn an F from English class from a community college. With writing like that he'd never be allowed in a doctoral program at a real school.

Also he said that attacking his Diploma is a typical example of attacking the messenger rather then the message he brings. I went to schools that were family oriented and were very connected to Church also when I was younger but that doesn't mean that they are not schools. In fact those schools had little to no bullying inside their walls etc.
