  • That was F*ucked up sh*t

  • WHAT THE F**K are they doing to this kid and why???? vid doesn't say or at least not that I have seen???

  • @IndigoDragon327 removing a tongue tie. look it up.

  • I wish my parents had mine removed..... -_-

    It's annoying as helllllllllllll

  • My daughter had happy gas then they snipped it with no fuss

  • oh poor baby....I think my son is gonna have to have this done.

  • :( So sad, but hey, its fixed now. He/she? wont even remember it.

  • I don't have mine.

  • they should have put it 2 sleep or something during tht

  • @jamielynn12100 not necessary, there crying more from the people standing all around

  • D: omg, and I still have mine and I am nineteen

  • wow lol

  • i'm a dental hygienist, and as you're all saying it's important to do this procedure. HOWEVER.. it was not done in a kind fashion. Topical benzocaine takes a few minutes to kick in... They barely waited 10 seconds to snip under the tongue! He felt that for SURE. They should have injected a small amount of lidocaine or local anesthetic to both areas to prevent the child from feeling ANY pain during, AND afterwards! It would also have lessened the bleeding. not the kindest way to to about it

  • my Baby born just 10 days a go and on the four day she had clipped, i am so lucky that we did find a doctor in the hospital that does that, my baby is ok now.

  • What the fuck he's only a fucking baby why would you do that

  • wtf is they doing to that fucking baby i just hate see babys in pain

  • bet u wouldnt like it fuk udsbbbbbbbbbbbtr

  • jesus fucking christ!!! giv the poor baby some medicine and giv it some time to work before you go in and just poke around in its mouth! fuck

  • Comment removed

  • That was terrifying. Just do it without anesthesia, why don't you?? Jesus give the medicine time to work, and use more of it! -__-

  • My son is tongue tied and he will undergo the procedure next week. He's just 6 months old and im really terrified. But i won't change my mind bcz i know its best for him. This pain will save him from lots of sufferings in the future.

  • I don't understand why people are commenting on how cruel this is. Especially when the only reason they have to say that is because they're bothered by the babies cries. If the senseless noise created by a child is enough to stop you from doing what's suppose to be done for the benefit of the child, then your lack of maturity is very disappointing and makes me fear for the child of the next generation.

  • The surgery has very little pain, the baby is crying because there are objects in his mouth and his arms are being held down. Some cannot breastfeed until after the procedure. I am an adult and had the same procedure done and there was no pain, very little bleeding.

  • the problem with putting such a young child under is the huge risk that they may not wake back up again.

  • I could never watch my child go through this even if my child had to get it i dont have a child im just sayin

  • you all need to fucking learn something or two.

They wouldn't do this just because it's fun to hurt a child!

You're all fucked up in the head for thinking so!!!

  • qe mieeerrrrrdas son!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE YOUR FUCKED UP.. POOR FUCKIN BABY... HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF IT WAS YOU, U LITTLE MOTHER FUCKIN ASSHOLES... SUCK MY FUCKIN DICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Poor baby :(

  • i dont understand this why there doing this ????? why?

  • Aww Wouldnt Of It Been Better If Thay Put It To Sleep But Least Its Young And Wont Remember The Pain :/

  • I can't believe that...didn't even watch the whole thing cuz the poor babies cries tore my heart apart!! If my child needed this done I would, likesomeone else said, take them to a HOSPITAL!!! My niece had this done and she was put under.. It's a fucking surgery FFS!!!!!!

  • First of all all of you need to shut up, this is in NO WAY AT ALL cruel. Secondly It is nessicary for this child to have this procedure for him/hjer to be able to breastfeed and for him/her to be able to talk when he/she is old enough. Lastly, the baby is to small for a sedative, I would think it could cause permanant damage in such a small body. So all you people posting rude comments just need to shut up and get off YouTube if you can't say anything nice.

  • I am a mother of 3 and i would never have done this in a doctors office my daughter needed a frenectomy at the age of 2 months because she couldnt breast feed properly and i took her to a very well know ent and he first put her to sleep and did it in a hospital. that poor baby suffered. You should let someone tie u up , put orajel under ur tongue and let someone clip it to see how it feels. dam the dr didnt even wait for the cream to take effect. god sees hes not blind

  • ITS WORTH HAVING DONE. WHEN HE GETS TO SUCK MOMMIES NICE FULL TITTI, HE WILL FORGET ALL ABOUT THE PAIN. NO PAIN , NO GAIN!

  • I agree with both sides of the argument going on here. 1 the baby dose feel pain any thing living feels pain in one way or another. 2. the prcedure if NOT life threting could have waited. However as expressed in other arguments 99% of doctors will not perform this procedure unless it is nessecery for the infant to eat. ow my spelling is very bad but I am a M.A (medical asst.) 3.my god I would have givin the meds at least 5 mins to start working! my dentist has to wait atleast 15 4 me to b numb!

  • THIS POOR FUCKING CHILD!

  • @BrianaBelton I NO MAN!x

  • Wow you are fucking sick. You do know that your child will develop trauma from this and most likely become either violent towards others or suicidal when they are older because you allowed such a stupid procedure?

    This procedure improves nothing.

The pain killer was not even given enough time to work either before cutting.

Plus it was only topical, it won't kill pain beneath the skins surface you fucking morons.

How about you get your body parts ripped apart while you're wide awake?

  • Watch a circumcision video of a newborn baby if you want to really see something horrible & sick! It's much worse than this.

  • @768Kayshan ITS BEST TO HAVE A CUT PECKER!

  • exactly what numbing agent works that quickly??? maybe give a min. or two. god i had hard time watching this...yep after reading your discription that is the most inhuman thing i've ever seen i could see if for a medical issue like a deformaty but this is sick

  • These negative comments are fucking stupid. This is often done as a necessary procedure in order to prevent speech impediments and over all discomfort in children As said below with the numbing solution the child would feel very little but as we all know babies can cry uncontrollably due to Any sitiuation, let alone being held down and instruments put in its mouth. My brother had this done due to a tied tongue when he was a baby.He was back to normal and breastfeeding happily in less than 10 min

  • If they used a numbing solution, the baby may not have been crying, but instead may have been crying from being held into place, while having other people hold his mouth open for him in order to do the medical procedure.

  • Babies cry because they are not happy with unfamiliar procedufres or they don't like to be disturbed, but they also cry from painful procedures, I think anything or almost anything- alive feels pain from things. So I never believed the whole newborns don't feel pain, assumption. If we were rested and somebody suddenly did a medical procedure to us adults, we would feel the pain while resting, so who is to say a newborn resting or not resting does not feel pain from medical procedures/other

  • huy noooooooooooooooooooo POBRE BEBE... que padres tan malos.. eso tambien se puede realizar con unos añitos mas.. descarados....

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?

  • @QuantumQuacks hahahahaha too funny! love this comment.

  • all you queers saying there mean how about reading the description first

  • Fuck that those parents should die honestly.

  • you people are horrible parents

    this isnt needed

RETARDED PARENTS LIKE THIS NEED TO BE SHOT

  • @LoveABabytoday Yeah. I think they actually feel pain more so than everyone else because their nerves are extra sensitive when they're recently out of the womb.

  • @LoveABabytoday Tongue tied is when the tongue frenulum is too long causing a person to not be able to stick their tongue out past their lips. Imagine not being able to stick your tongue out. This really is for the best.

  • @LoveABabytoday

It is not just about speaking.....its about oral hygiene and being able to EAT! Unless you have been in this situation, do not judge. My son has a severe tongue tie and will have to have SURGERY to correct it b/c the would not clip it like they did to this baby

  • you should see my brother during circumcision

  • Babies with tongue tie mostly have problems when they're breastfeed. Maybe that's what happen with the baby in this video. Babies with tongue tie can't breastfeed as good as normal baby. That's why this procedure should be done. It hurts, yes of course. But then the baby can get all the benefits of breast milk much better.

  • poor baby :'(

  • i don't see how this is being a bad parent. you're only allowed to get it done if it will benifit you. i'm going to see my doctor today about getting mine done. if you stick your tongue out and it doesn't go too far and your frenulum goes betwee your bottom teeth when you do it you should have it done.

  • @zoeezubrowka did it hurt? cause im tongue tied and effects my speech kinda and i want to get it done

  • @Dollyparton1996 well, i went to see my doctor about it and he said if it doesn't affect my speech or eating much then i don't need it. eve though i want to. i'll probably go again and just ask me to refer me to an ear, nose and throat clinic.

  • @zoeezubrowka if i where you i would just go in and fake a lisp

  • @Dollyparton1996 good idea

  • @LoveABabytoday there's a difference between being sensitive, and being dramatic. crying over something like this would be dramatic. just saying; if you want people of the other view point to take you seriously, you can't say stuff like that.

  • what the hell is wrong with you???!!!!!!!! terrible parent. im tongue tied too and i wish i werent but im glad my parent didnt put me through hell like you did!!!!!

  • @LoveABabytoday you can't stop crying? seriously? you can't expect poeple to take your opinion of this seriously if you're going to be this dramatic about it. the baby won't even remember this, and it'll help with whatever problem he had. they wouldn't waste the time or money to do this, for no reason. and I've had the web thing (lingual frenulum) under my tongue cut a lot more than once, cut in half sometimes. it heals back, and it barely even hurts.

  • y did they do that??

  • Belive me, but these parent did this so the baby didn't grow up and can speak.

so yes, it hurts but it helps...

  • omg i hope the lady that gave birth to this baby has her tubes tied i would never do such thing

  • @jvasquez213

Don't say never when you have not been in that situation! My son is tongue tied, and b/c they didn't clip it like they did to this baby, he now has to have surgery to correct it. He was not able to breast feed and at a year old cannot eat solids b/c he cannot use his tongue to push his food back to swallow.

  • seriously at least a partial anastetic would have helped!!!!

  • @LoveABabytoday Do research its not the ONLY reason why this is performed...c'mon people leave it to the professionals..you's look like idiots with your comments..

  • Comment removed

  • Basically Abuse :(

  • That is disgusting.

  • general anesthetic poses a great risk for such a little one! i doubt any anesthesiologist would even do it for such a short and simple procedure. she is in a little pain, don't forget they numbed it well, she is more upset than anything.

  • Most babies hate to be held down. That's the main thing and they hate having their mouths opened. Try brushing an 18 month old's teeth. I go through her screaming fits every single tooth brushing. This is no different than a circumcision.

  • i cried looking at him or her crying I felt sooooooooooooo bad :( DX

  • Comment removed

  • @XxMissStarlightxX He's at the hospital dipshit..go do research and find out why babies who are tounge-tied get this done!

  • I almost gagged just watching this..poor effin baby!

  • omg this is so cruel, atleast fucking knock them out :O

  • And I thought that tongue-tied was just an expression. Who knew?

  • Awhhh poor thing :,(

  • What the fuck is wrong with you this is worse then Aushwitz!!!!

  • this is terrible

  • babys are so fuckin creepy!

  • omg are you even certified to do that? take the baby to a damn hospital. poor kid!

  • No! 0mfg!

    Poor Baby! How Terriblke

  • fucking sick u should fucking die u fat ass bitch

  • If babies are tongue tied and they don't get it clipped they could grow up not being able to talk right. My tongue was tied when i was born and they clipped it right away, and yea it hurts but wouldn't you rather be able to talk? But my sister Ema did not get hers clipped when she was born. By the time she was 8 she couldn't pronounce certain words so she got it clipped and the pain only lasted a day and now she can talk great! So the docs are not being cruel they are just helping.

  • I am going to ignore the necessity of the procedure and focus on how barbaric it looks. That child is in obvious pain and I personally think that a new way of performing the procedure needs to be used because listening to that little one scream is heart breaking. @UtubeDuDeDuh Small babies are given general anesthetic all the time for various operations. Don't be an idiot.

  • Let me do that to you! Wide awake with just a little bit of freaking numbing solution! you people should be castrated. That is just cruel and in humane! That baby was not screaming bc he/she was being forced to go through that, but DAMN THAT HURTS!

  • Some of you are seriously uneducated. While a tongue tie can cause problems with speaking later in life, 99% of all babies who have tongues clipped in the first few days of life, have it done so they can breastfeed. Even bottle feeding can be very hard for a tongue tied baby. So those of you who are saying this is cruel and awful and she should have her baby taken away, think about how much worse off this child would be if he were starving to death because of a severe tongue tie.

  • @rere0405 I'm 22 years old and born with a tongue tie and still have it.My parents were so afraid that they decided not to let my tie cut.Now I have lisp, tongue thrust, crooked teeth everything.

If people think that this is cruel just to have a better life they are plain stupid.

  • No lidocane WTF! He can't be numb!

  • As horrible as this looks, it really is necessary for many babies that are born tongue-tied. It is mostly necessary in order for a baby to breastfeed properly.

  • THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! I just had my frenulum cut last Friday and they had to use topical numbing agent AND novocaine and it STILL HURT!! Plus that "nurse" in the vido only let the benzocaine only sit for a few seconds, not even allowing it to be effective. Jesus christ!

  • Those parents need to have their child taken away

  • @brittneyloveful Yeah and Dcyf would look at your comment and think you're a idiot!

  • that'll learn him.

  • Thats terrible. I have my tongue tied and I speak just fine!

  • omg could they not have knocked that baby out i hate to hear a baby cry like that so cruel bless him

  • @CHANTY679 Yeah and giving a baby med's to knock him out isnt cruel?

  • @CHANTY679

It is not cruel, it is necessary for some to EAT!

    Now, circumcision is cruel

  • @isaiahsmom621

yeah but at least in circumcision they numb the baby.

wtf are the parents doing?! i could never see my child crying in pain like that.

  • @born2act135

Are you a mother to a son that has been circumcised? They do not numb the baby. They give them sugar water, which they say is an analgesic but come on, would you ask for sugar water when you are going to have a part of your body cut off?

  • Poor baby =( My daughter has a low and swollen upper labial frenulum. She has to get it snipped to avoid gum infection. Where it is positioned makes it impossible to brush her front top teeth properly. She is 20mo old. I feel so bad that she is going to have to feel that kind of pain =(

This video made me cry, I don't want to see my girl cry like this =(

  • unvelibable

  • this is so unnecessary!!? if they´re born in the us they can speak english as good as the others!!

  • donder op dit is kk zielig

  • I would not be able to be present for this, I nearly passed out when my son got his first shots...

  • that's so horrible *tear* yeah i'm sorry he had to go through that too

  • he is such a cute baby, sory he had to go trough this :(

  • Wow it's been close to two years since this video was made to educate other parents on the tongue tie procedure and we still get comments on it. Zion is a happy talkative and passionate boy now. There are many other videos of him on Youtube for those who wish to see how he turned out.

  • jesus christ! =o =o dats pomade anesthesia? dat thing does not rele work, ifeel his pain ;o ;o ;o

  • i want to just cry!!!! this is awful

  • That has to be one of the cruelest things I've seen today.

  • Oh my god, you are a sick F _ C K

  • Literally cannot believe this is allowed. On what nonsense biological research is this based? Cosmetic surgery with no other use along with labiaplasty and face lifts. Cretins.

  • Koreans and other Asian nationalities born in and having grown up in an English-speaking country ARE PERFECTLY CAPABLE of pronouncing ALL English sounds.

Korean and Japanese have a limited phonic system. THAT is the problem.

Seriously, why so many retarded folk in the world? It's just plain scary.

  • You are a terrible parent. You shouldn't be allowed to have a child.

  • @Amathev I know it seem cruel,... and i am very sickened too, but its better to have it done when the kid can't ever even remeber it

  • yes they asked if i jus wanted local anesthesia or to give me gas and i didnt wanna see them do it so i asked to get knocked out haha

  • they feel the pain, but they dont remember after a couple of days.

  • You people obviously disgust me. Just because you dont feel the pain doesnt mean that they dont. And just because your doctor says they cant feel it doesnt mean that they cant. I think we should do this procedure this exact way to the parents. Then maybe they would think about what they did to their child.

  • how could u do that to the baby pour thing my mom could hear it crying from the backyard! i have that and i still haven`t anything done done but i had surgry done befor just not on the tounge! pour babe it wasn`t happy eathir!

  • i dont get why people think this is bad. i really wish my parents wuld of done this to me wen i was yunger. i jus got my surgery done yesterday and im 15 an i gotta say im very happy :]] now i can stick tongue out without my sister callin me a freak lol

  • If some of you would read the information about the video you would see that obviously this is a Korean child and his or her parents thought that by doing this procedure their baby would be able to speak English better.

The bottom line is, people are forever and always going to have opinions about health care and such. This will not go away. It is better for us to respectfully say we disagree rather than telling each other off and trying to belittle everyone.

    Let's grow up! =)

  • @ItsCambria

To correct you, Zion is half Korean and half Caucasian and we weren't concerned about speech problems. We did this to keep him alive. Trouble swallowing milk is a problem when that's all infants eat. Laying down, his tongue would block the airway in his throat at night so he'd stop breathing. We spent many sleepless nights watching over him to wake him up or to comfort him when he'd wake up sucking air and crying for help. Thanks for being compassionate.

  • @ItsCambria

Zion is half Korean and half Caucasian and we weren't concerned about speech problems. We did this to keep him alive. He was choking and gagging on milk and when laying down, his tongue would block the airway in his throat at night so he'd stop breathing. Thanks for being compassionate.

  • Oh I see, I just assumed it was for language because of the video description.

Parents usually know what's best, Youtubers don't, ha!.

  • why the fuck would u do that to a baby i feel so sad for that baby! why dont u do that to your own damn self

  • Are you fucking retarded? They're doing it for its own good so that it doesnt have speech issues or have breast feeding problems. Why don't you go and get your fucking retarded piece of shit ass off the internet and jump off a cliff.

  • omg this is soooo sadpour baby

  • poor baby

  • Poor little baby... I know it has to be done but just give them a bit of medicine by mouth to calm them so it won't be so traumatic... mothers feel the trauma, too... doctors can be such idiots sometimes...

  • I agree with that.

  • it does not need to be done. i have a tongue tie and lead a full life, with no speech problems. it doesn't need to be done i find it cruel.

  • This is so STUPID.The Asians are born with short tongues, accept it.

  • fuck u slut ...u don't know shit about anything..go fuckin suck ur moms tits or crawl up her pussy again hoe

  • Blah blah, with your foul mouth, they should do a few other things to your tongue.

  • wat a ignorant cunt....i actually laughed at ur reply...lol...

bitch someone should cut of ur lips and fuckin sew it on ur forehead

    asshole...hattelovescattie...is that some lesbian joke?

  • Well as one friend just said about a article I sent her on someone trying to drown a puppy, you should have your nuts cut off.I love cats more than dogs.

  • what are u fuckin on about...shut up slut u fuckin talk too much

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'm sorry your parents cannot monitor your internet privileges.

  • well...we can see what ur parents taught u in life..

  • I can understand them not sedating babies for iv insertions into veins such as the scalp and any other veins needing iv insertion. Since inserting ivs are not minor or major surgical procedures. Some babies/kids, its not the pain of a medical procedure that bugs them they simply can't stand a checkup, my 3 year old boy hates his ears getting checked at the doctors, I screamed at 5 getting only 3 stitches put in I was a right drama queen!

  • my baby girl had no high or white low cell counts, no proven infections with blood cultures and no 02 dependancy, at 5 days after a midwife did not want her upstairs and then home, in the NNU they pinned her down poking her veins desperate to get 1 needle in a vein for antibiotics, with a screaming thrashing red faced babe, they said a scalp iv is kinder then the other option of thigh injections,I come back for the shaven scalp hair & they had done thigh injections, said she coped well.Tough kid!

  • Comment removed

  • so sad to watch :( sometimes it has to be done. the baby wont remember it so its probably best to do it while the babys young.

  • i wish i had one of those when i was a child. 4 years of speech class and they gave up on me =[ i eventually learned to speak properly. only took a whole summer of me talking to myself in the mirror.

  • aww, poor baby ]=

  • Both of my children had frenectomys when they were infants in order to breastfeed properly. They were so tonguetied that they weren't gaining enough weight. It is really a wonderful thing, not body modification. These children do not grow up having Gene Simmons tongues, they get to have normal tongues, gain weight properly, and not have speech impediments.

  • have you ever heard of this stuff someone created called formula? i know breastfeeding is best, but um, if you're having problems, WHY put a baby through this for that reason??? i experienced the same thing myself with all of my kids, and low and behold, formula worked! no cruel, unecessary surgery needed and... my kids were happy, satisfied, well fed, and turned out just fine.

  • Breastfeeding is a wonderful bonding experience that is extremely beneficial to both the mother and child. I am sorry that you couldn't experience that. Cruel and unnecessary? Definitely not. Try reading all of the comments from people who are still tonguetied and had to have a frenectomy later on in life or grew up with a speech impediment.

  • This is just crazy. Now they are just thinking of different ways to do stupid shit. Too help them speak better english? Hell I am from America and I had to learn how to pronounce my r and s. I guess the parents just want to get them a early start in hard core body modifiacation. "Dude, I got my tounge cut when I was just a baby! Ha Ha" >:(

  • wtf why do that to a child

  • you sick bitches and bastards!

why the fuck would you do that to a baby?!

  • O_o

  • Aweeeeeeeeee :(

  • That's cruel. why was'nt the baby sedated or something!

  • the benzocain was a local anesthetic. calm down

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • oh my fucking god this shouldnt be on utube u son of a bitch thats not necisary! u sick son of a bitch!~

  • its a medical video. people need to see these types of things so they can know what to expect. there are ethics involved here, but that doesn't make this wrong. Its not child abuse. Its not nice to see the little guy cry, but if its in the parents best interest.

Have you ever heard of a Circumcision? Because I think thats way worse.

  • and I jus question: why? that's sad

  • i did not like that poor baby i think you should sadate a little poor little cutie

  • this looks horrible!

  • My baby had this procedure done by the same doctor. Yes, it looks scary. To those who are concerned: The benefits of continued breasfeeding is a million times more important than the pain of the procedure. This procedure is generally done because the baby is not able to breastfeed properly. I was referred by my lactation consultant and I was happy with the results. My baby had stopped latching and now I'm still breastfeeding 5 months later.

  • that's cruel

  • oh mein gott

  • STOP IT YOU COW

  • poor little baby!!! aww
