  • # 1 rule to filming downtown....Be Sober! When all else fails, they use the P.I. card, it's a magical card. #2 rule, take a camera with a good zoom and keep your distance.

  • You guys push it with the police and that's what you get. To bad he didn't thump you as I would have.

  • The guy with the white t-shirt wasn't threatened either.

  • So why did he not also arrest the guy videotaping your arrest. He was closer than you were.

  • I'm glad the cop can count. Maybe next he can learn the laws he gets paid to enforce

  • so cops can make up the law as they go.. and are backed by the courts.. they dont like scrutiny..

  • Acevedo couldn't care less about this kind of thing. He's as corrupt an any cop can be. He's a politician with a gun.

  • A "lawful order" is anything a cop orders. No wonder they so corrupt. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  • John Bush is like a 2 year old unable to handle any authority

  • @mercer401 so true!

  • @mercer401 the cop has no authority to just start ordering people around and arresting people who are exercising their constitutionally protected rights

ya know over time many things have changed from acceptable governmental behavior to unacceptable

    like slavery

maybe if those upstart guys like Lincoln had just shut up and accepted authority huh?

  • @SPFrobber Of course, the operative question here is: just how far up the police officers ass can the observer have his camera?

  • Lawful orders have no basis in "because I have a badge and because I said so".

Fuck APD and fuck the lying, incompetent Acevedo, the sniveling Hippolito, and that worthless shitbag Margo Frasier. Leslie could do a better job patrolling downtown drunker than ever and in a filthy dress.

  • ROFL......John Bush getting arrested.....Put more of these videos up!!! I enjoy watching John Bush getting arrested for his own stupidity....ROFL

  • @maximumfullpower have you checked out that video of your mom getting ass-raped by the cops? its pretty sweet i dont have a link though so youll have to search for it

  • @chaseantarctica - You so sweet there cupcake. Calm down otherwise you will have major orgasim...

  • Austin PD, you ever grab my arm and I will break your face. Absolutely unacceptable.

  • Ok I am taking a poll er pole er oh, forgetaboutit

  • When can we start arresting police for breaking the laws? Clearly he was breaking a law by grabbing you!

  • @chupalia You can arrest ANY1 you see committing a "felony or breech of the peace," however, you need to understand what an "arrest" is, and how to properly file charges against ANY1, including a cop, when you see them break the law. You do NOT need to take a cop into custody because you see him commit a crime. That will likely get you shot, and the people sympathizing with the cop. But just because you can't cuff them does NOT mean you can't get them in trouble for breaking the law.

  • That cop is a PUSSY!

  • Cops can film us whenever they want, fingerprint us, ticket us when broke their city is broke, give us breathalyzer tests, take DNA samples, but if we film them, or demand our rights, ohhh shit, then we're out of line.

    Good ole U.S.S.A.

  • They do not know who they help!= Satan is the name!

  • Arrogant cop! What a DICK

  • They was not asking Them to not film they were asking them to give them room and stop pestering them. They refused to comply with a simple order which was to stand 5 feet away at a poll. This was obviously for the officers safety and so they may do there jobs. Its kids like this that make a bad name for people that is actually trying to fight the system with reasonable arguments I hope the charges stick so they may learn there lesson.

  • He was egging the cop on. It was completely reasonable for him to simply go behind the poll. It was like 5ft away.

  • This "Officer of The Law" Obviously has no Idea what Laws he is Sworn to Uphold. He Would Stand a Better Chance Flipping French Fries at P.F. Chang's. No Doubt these Two Men were Merely Exercising Freedom. The "Officer", Simply Put, Didn't Like his Authority Being Challenged. For Some reason He Views Himself as Superior and these "Civilians" As Inferior, He needs to have His Badge Stripped For Representing That Department in an ill Manner. Shine on Cue Ball. Shine On.

  • its a tron cop

  • Let's see, these punks intentionally interfered with the officer duties, were belligerent, and refused to comply with a reasonable and legal request multiple times.

What they need is a huge fine and to grow up.

  • Speaking with Judge presiding over John Bush and Matt Medina's Austin Community Court Appreance

    watch?v=5YREJf_0w_8

  • please add captions to the video

  • Wow this cop is a big filth. He gave himself away so many times. I dont wanna hear any bs from anyone how this officer is in some kind of right. Ive been in public service many times and theres parts of the job you need to deal with with manners and obligation. Period.

  • Tyrannical cops need to stand down! Public SERVANTS, not public MASTERS! Obey your oath, allow people to live FREE!!!!

  • CALM DOWN PEOPLE. All you need to do is tell the cop, "I have a court order that gives me the right to videotape police officers." Then when the stupid cop says, "You do?" show him the printout of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court's ruling

    .

"The filming of government officials engaged in their duties in a public place, including police officers performing their responsibilities, fits comfortably within these principles [of protected First Amendment activity].," said the Court

    .

  • @TheCrimsonsGhosts Yeah , we know . Just to let you know we know.

  • CALM DOWN PEOPLE. All you need to do is tell the cop, "I have a court order that gives me the right to videotape police officers."

    .

Then when the stupid cop says, "You do?" show him the printout of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court's ruling

    .

"The filming of government officials engaged in their duties in a public place, including police officers performing their responsibilities, fits comfortably within these principles [of protected First Amendment activity].," said the Court

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 "Gathering information about government officials in a form that can readily be disseminated to others serves a cardinal First Amendment interest in protecting and promoting the free discussion of governmental affairs." The Court added that the police officers should have understood this all along, and that videotaping public officials is not limited to the press.

  • @electrictroy2010 I believe ,(currently, technically) there is no 1st amendment . If you can fkn believe that?

  • @electrictroy2010 He can still arrest you for not obeying his order to stay away from his duties.

  • @TheCrimsonsGhosts also that profile picture i hope that is not of you or anyone of your family..it looks like you are some sorta ape, i mean it looks EXACTLY as the actors did in planet of the apes....again...i dont know what the picture is of but i can only hope that the picture is not of any human....if that is you, then that is quite sad...PS you are just a piece of shit who seems to fear violence and the people doing what is right and standing up for themselve

  • @TheCrimsonsGhosts untill people stop going along with the status quo and following orders, and defending themselves and resting what is wrong, nothing will change...idiots like you will continue to say "dont defend your self" ect...when that is the ONLY thing that will bring change....

  • @TheCrimsonsGhosts so tell me what exactly am i saying that would have you believe that i am an agent provacatour....i am advocating for the LAWFUL resistance of illegal actions and orders taken by law enforcement....wouldnt an agent provacatour simply advocate for senseless violence, as opposed to what i am doing which is legal you are allowed to defend your self against anyone committing crimes against you

support freedom kill cops in defense

  • to protect and serve the shit out of you mother fuckers.

  • what a tool, total dick cop

  • Also, if you are NOT under arrest, you are NOT obliged to talk to police. This is even true in a traffic stop. Since you are not under arrest at the time the cherries come on, you are not obliged to stop. Pulling over and stopping is 100% voluntary and doing so contracts you with that agent. The best thing to do if accosted by a cop is to KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Remaining silent means just that. SHUT UP! I've done it. You are not obliged to engage with a cop whether under arrest or not.

  • There is no such thing as a 'lawful order' if we live in a voluntary society. All that need be asked of the public servants is 1. Was I acting as an agent for THE STATE at the time of the alleged infraction? 2. Was I performing a function of government at the time of the alleged infraction? 3. If so, THE STATE has 10 business days to prove up with pay records proving that they paid me for services rendered. They can't. And because the can't, you are NOT taxable. Study Dean Clifford's work!

  • Gave him a lawful order? Since when have these tyrannts become OUR law and making crap up as they go along. This officer needs to be suspended for kidnapping and abuse of power.

  • It's sad - a lot of cops don't know how to do their job. If I didn't know how to do my job, a lot of people would get sick and I would get fired.

  • checkout my 12/21/12 videos everybody

  • it 's incredible how people keep ignore the fact THAT WE ARE SLAVES with NO RIGHTS!this cop is just an idiot who enjoy to abuse other people, the job for wich is beeing paid for(by the tax payers)is to protect the people and their rights,NOT TO ARREST THEM because they DON T STAY BEHIND THE POLE AND BEHIND the SYSTEM THAT STEALS THEIR RIGHTS,HOMES,JOBS,HEALTH ecc.but what goes around comes around, and I wonder when his time will come and the system will abuse him too, will he stay BEHIND THE POLE??

  • @MsThepath It's incredible how many weak-minded conspirators are siding with an ignorant young "man" who purposely goes way out of his way to do exactly what the cop asked him not to do FIVE TIMES. He's asking for it! Cops are the nicest/coolest people I know, because they give their lives to protect idiots like this guy... and you. ;)

  • @macsdestroyspcs2 The cops have no right to give you arbitrary commands, and when they do, they are no longer acting as police officers, but isstead, acting as private citizens under full commercial liability, comitting assault and kidnapping. The guys arrested we not acting unlawfully. They guys arrested were not interfering with the officers duties. The officers think they acted right because of an obscure local ordinance stating citizens must obey all police commands.

  • @bind1967 Asking someone to stay back isn't arbitrary. He's protecting both himself and the person he already has under arrest as is his right and duty. Grow up.

  • @FactChecking101 protecting them from what? lmao

  • @FactChecking101 It is indeed arbitrary. By your reasoning the videographer is guilty until proven innocent. What was he protecting himself from ... a camera? The time will come when offiers acting unlawfully, not illegally, will be put to task for their treasonous acts. They derrive their power only from the consent of the governed. The citizenry will tire of this oppression and strike back in spades. The day is coming. Sonner than you realize.

  • @macsdestroyspcs2 You are under the mistaken impression that civil servants hold authority over you. They do not. You are the one in authority unless you are acting unlawfully. The governed gives the government their power. Your uneducated obedience or unlawful activity gives them that authority.

  • @bind1967 Failing to comply with a reasonable and legal request to remain a reasonable distance away from the officer and the person they were either detaining or assisting IS acting unlawfully. The officers were fair, reasonable, and patient.

  • @FactChecking101 They were not detaining or assisting anyone. They were taking pictures with a woman they found attractive. They were no performing any of their lawful duties. They have no more rights than you or I. The cops took issue with the being photographed doing something they werent supposed to be doing. There was no danger and the videographers posed no threat. The local irdinance allowing the cops to arrest people for not following arbitrary commands is not lawful.

  • @bind1967 Sorry, there's no woman in the video. The officer was very patient and repeated his request numerous times. The punks were belligerent and aggressive. That was the threat. It had nothing to do the video. He never tried to stop them from videoing until he was arresting them.

  • @macsdestroyspcs2 You are so far from reality and that is so sad and makes you so weak-minded & vulnerable...In your Utopia maybe the cops giver their lives to protect you&me&"idiots who protest".. but hey that is a good news, it mens that also Santa and the Easter Bunny exist!!! ;-)

  • What a coward that pig is!

  • @Rossome4040 Great, so the next time someone breaks into your house, you know not to call the "cowards."

  • @macsdestroyspcs2 This issue has nothing to do with a break in. You seem to draw a line between two unconnectable dots. Police and government serve a needed purpose. To serve and protect, NOT to oppress and control.

  • @macsdestroyspcs2 I have call the cowards to my house. And guess what. They did a whole lot of talking and a whole lot of nothing else. besides i call my insurance company. because they actually can do something.

  • Just called

  • If he (the cop) had just been doing his job, we wouldn't be watching this.

  • LOL THAT cop sounds like a dumb ass... like FOR REAL! This is what all cops act like that.

  • id ot know why he addresses the guy in the clown costume as 'officer'... giving him jurisdiction... learn the words... "I dont consent" , "Where is your warrant?" "You are committing title 18 crimes and kidnapping, assault, aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and willful inhumanity" "Ignorarance of the law is no excuse... for THEM"

  • pussy cops making up rules to justify their iniquities and their lack of testicle fortitude ...

  • what gives "cops" the right to say "lawful ORDERS"? they are NOT some kind of superior being or are they? (in their own little minds maybe)

Cops need to be put where they belong, Unemployed..

  • support freedom even if that means you must kill a cop or other govt employee in self defense next time you are a victim of unlawful arrest maybe you should defend yourself and if that means killing cops then so be it

  • People need to actively resist and if that means using violence in defense of your freedoms then so be it....it is our right and duty to resist tyranny by protecting and defending ourselves, our loved ones, our freedoms, and anyone else we see being victimized or attacked by anyone (criminals, regular citizens police, members of military, elected officials) by any means and if that means we must kill a cop, tsa, official or any other govt employee then so be it.

  • You see that car? You see that pole? You see that bike stand? You see that sign? You see that barricade? Your rights & freedoms begin & end with what ever command & visual marker they make up & point at. You see that armed violent gang with shiny badges defending THEIR turf? You see this baton? You see that that steel cage? You see that orange jump suit? You see that man in the black robe? You see that court clerk/cashier? You see who is protecting you from yourselves? C who owns your ass now?

  • Don't talk to them, other than plain first response. Take it to court.

  • So when is the Great Pork BBQ, or just the Revolution?

  • These cops can only be cops they could not work anywhere elese--who would be dumb enough to hire them?

  • Waste of manpower

  • ah cmon, this is not fascism, there is no swastika on the right arm of the gestapo off... er i mean police officer, you know the thing wich is absolutely necessary to distinguish between totalitarian and "free society" :)

  • Dumb ass cops with little pee pees, have to prove a point. These cops have to get a life.

  • This is the kind of filth that should be locked up. Good job pigs.

  • "I told you four times. I told you five times..."

    Not very creative are they?

  • cant arrest the illuminati demons, lets arrest someone for not being an inch from a pole. When will the cops serve and protect instead of harrass?

  • This cops is obviously suffering from "Little Big Man's" syndrome aka Napoleon's syndrome, it makes me sick to see my fellow cops acting this way.

  • Comment removed

  • apparently *any* order is lawful if you just repeat it a few times.

  • Confronting the paid security guards is really no way of confronting the problem. It may elucidate, and the core goes deeper... Jus sayin!

  • you have to respect that the police dont want to be watched or filmed........after all it makes it impossable for them to do whatever they want!...... the camra phone is the ak47 of the new world

  • you provoked a response from the officer. Happy, idiot?

  • I have seen a lot of injustices documented on youtube, sorry bros, but this aint one of them.

  • Oh, so I come back and my comments gone. Censorship. I got it. "Certain People" get censored and others don't. I got it.

  • 2009, this Nazi Cop admitted he "enjoys arresting cyclists" or probably anyone he feels like. ENJOYS. What's the Law to him and others like him. Just a uniform with a badge. Sadly, many of our nation's good cops are turning out the same way. So is our military, being brain-washed into believing we are the enemy, or "terrorists". LOL @ the N.W.O.

  • if you live in texas you knew the risk you were taking. they'll arrest you for looking them in the eyes.

  • people need to stay as far away from this pigs as they possibly can.

  • The Pigs name on the net please

  • All the other people arent interfereing..he was..intentionaly.He got what he deserved.Yet you can bet your sweet ass if Matt was being Mugged or Beat on...Matt would be at police begging for their help.

  • Intentionaly following around a police officer ,interfering in his work,He deserved to be arrested. He enticed the officer continously as in his other videos,He deserved the arrest. This is not what the movement is for,and he is using the movement for his own personal agenda. If you start SHIT ,than you should be preparaed to EAT IT.

  • @woodromw, get real. The only people who "deserve arrest," are those who are actually breaking the law. He didn't break the law. The First Amendment covers even "personal agendas." The First Amendment protects unpopular speech, unpopular speakers, and peaceable assembly because the government doesn't try to stop government butt kissers like you.

  • @quackn government Butt kissers? seriously? Is that the best you can do? Get a life. The First Amendment does not guarantee you the Right to interfere ,just how stupid are you? Really.I been at this type of movements longer than your sorry ass has been alive probably. You have NO Clue what is happening. Before you go mouthing off and acting all "Tough" Like a "Keyboard Warrior"..get your facts straight.grow Up. Learn.

  • Matt M. is getting a reputation of being a powerful ethical activist for liberty. They don't want that.

  • i too saw lots of people walk way closer to the pigs crime scene and not get harassed. must be something about cameras that the gang in blue doesn't like.

  • I'm still wondering why the cop didn't arrest all of the other passers-by whos' "intent" he didn't know. What a load. That cop ought to be ashamed of himself.

  • Pigs will always be PIGS. America is the "new Germany of WWII."

  • Bees are annoying creatures that sometimes sting people for no reason but I don't recommend going out, having a few drinks, and kicking around a beehive. That's sort of what it looked like John did in this video. I know the whole "obey the law" BS doesn't always work and many cops go above and beyond to harass people but that's now what this video showed.

  • @5452347 our money doesn't supply the livelihood of bees, however.

  • @nobravenewworld : that's true. I'm certainly not siding with the police. We all know that their job is to generate revenue. I just think John took this one a little too far.
