Holy Arrow vs. Magic Claw

let me tell u this... holy arrow does more dwm at undead but does low dmg a slime monsters like slime king... dubble claw is fast and does almost same dmg on regulair monsters... Heal does more dmg then holy arrow i,m lv 83 my heal does max 4557 dmg and holy arrow 4132 !

because holy arrow hits harder on undead/devil monsters and you were fighting a undead monster

Well, they have pretty high magic defense. So, yeah, your damage will decrease alot when you attack them.

- Holy Arrow hits more damage and probably knock back almost all monsters than magic claw. Magic claw is just fast hit twice. Thank you milktoon2!

- Holy Arrow is now act like a pistol and primary magic attack for all my Cleric/Priest/BIshop life, and is cost only 24 MP, it can use infinitely because of MP Eater or Best is MP Recovery! (But currently I'm still Fighter, my main char.)

you can do that when a skill is activated. it can happen only when you use teleport between the casting of a skill and the finishing of a skill. best to practice with magic booster or thunder spear(slow casting skills)

i would have holy arrow if the attack was higher, but it's just as strong as magic claw, and by the time your a cleric, you'd already have that maxed. so there's no point for holy arrow besides it's holy element, and that's what heal is for.

i hate people that rip on holy arrow and ice strike saying "its a waste cuz u get better attacks in 3rd and 4th job!" that's the dumbest reasoning. sorry but it is a long time before you get those skills and having a higher attack 2nd job is nice.. plus in 3rd job there are some pretty useless skills too like doom . i personally maxed holy arrow in 2nd job..skipped bless until 3rd job , and didn't get doom. (using a rock to turn enemies to snails? complete waste of money and sp)

fyi: HOLY ARROW MAX IS BETTER THAN SHINING RAY MAX. Shining ray has more damage but less rate of fire. If you watch comparison videos, holy arrow kills monsters faster than shining ray. Sorry to rain on your Shining ray parade.

If you choose to make Holy Arrow, you should generally choose between Teleport or MP Eater. They're both mostly to save money, except that Teleport gives you increased distance from level one to twenty, so you can travel more quickly, and move through training grounds more quickly as well. MPE on the other hand just makes you steal more MP when attacking a monster, which can be easily made up with MP pots which shouldn't be too costly to buy, seeing that Priests already save money on HP pots.
