@69tomla It's not a matter of dangerous prescriptions. Aspirin and Tylenol are dangerous. Alcohol is dangerous. Here' are the problems: 1. Dr. Murray seems to have provided medical treatment that was far outside the realm of acceptable. He broke the cardinal rule- do no harm. 2. Many people knew of his underlying emotional fragility made WORSE by his substance abuse. The actions or inactions of others, not just doctors, contributed to this tragedy 3. RIP Michael Jackson.
My instincts tell me the Conrad Murray was only the fall guy, and there are alot more people involved in this case. Why would a Doctor not follow standard operating proceedures and risk his neck like this unless he was forced to.

Dr. Murray seems to have provided medical treatment that was far outside the realm of acceptable. He broke the cardinal rule- do no harm. 2. Many people knew of his underlying emotional fragility made WORSE by his substance abuse. The actions or inactions of others, not just doctors, contributed to this tragedy 3. RIP Michael Jackson.

I think Dr. Murray was irresponsible, negligent and maybe even partially responsible for MJ's death. But in reality, I wonder how many other doctors contributed to his death. Very ignorant and childish comments here. MJ was amazing but his deep rooted and complex problems began long before some of us were even born. To hold one person responsible for MJ's death is just ridiculous., No one but God will ever be able to make sense of his problems, race issues..etc. Dr Murray maybe did use gross misconduct but that only makes him partly responsible - not fully. Physically and emotionally abusing ur children can have grave consequences and ..MJ was once a living example.

This doctor broke alot of moral and ethical rules by giving Michael the drugs; but if this doctor wouldn't have given it to him; he would have just found some other doctor who had no morals or ethics to give it to him.
