I love this commercial BTW the monkey has been EM's company Mascot well before Obama's name was known, and also a monkey in Japan is kinda seen as a goodluck charm, charismatic etc. Also its normal in Japanese culture for a person to say they look like this animal or that animal. This is not racist ad all! I mean, the situation of this ad might be misunderstood as racism easily while the election is still going on, but I don't think one "Japanese Phone Company" used the monkey, the company's mascot they previously used in their old ads, to disgrace Obama and African American?
