holy buffleheads man nice work! gotta love those days hwen the ducks bomb even when ur standin out there... last season we had canvasback doin that to us llimited out within 15 min of shooting hours opening...
nice dog too btw rusty my red lab is gunna be full force this season
Gordy your looking good. this was a very nice video / kind of nice with out any music or voices going on. You took some great photos. Good luck with Gordy.
I have my first gun dog / a wirehaired pointing griffon , am learning alot with him.
that is one beautiful dog, You have to be proud of your dog! (amazing). she I think! or he, can't be sure but female is what im going on!. you have to be proud! I have ran labs but not for a while 6yrs or so and after seeing that I want to get into the duck hunitng season again, Did you train your own, I did and it was just like yours. I quit cause she got to old and it wasn'nt fair for me to go and for her not to come along, she's gone now (I miss her!) but thinking about starting over again
when u get him/her the first thing u ever teach that dog is to hate the road make sure that dog hates the road more than nething else n the world becuz this afternoon my got hit by a car and it crushed me these dogs grow on u and its one of the most difficult animals to lose
I am a DIVER hunter, the puddler are just something to do until the REAL birds show up. 92 birds so far this season and im happy to say only 1 freakin puddler was killed.
So this is the Gordy that I have heard so much about from Gary. I am getting a pup from Hat Creek as well. Mother Penny, father Jake. She just had the pups on 10\31\08. I cant wait until I get him. Seeing this video really speaks alot for Gary's dogs!
He bred Penny (chocolate) with Jake (chocolate) and that whole litter is chocolate. He also bred JJ (yellow) with Gus (yellow) and the whole litter is yellow. He also bred Maggie (black) with Jake. They had blacks and chocolates. I was going to get a black male from that litter, but the second male was stillborn, so I was out of luck there. I decided that if I was going to get a chocolate male, that I would get it out of Penny. I get to go pick him out this weekend. My dad is getting a yellow.

What colors did they have? Great dogs don't need a heavy hand at all. Smart and love to be around you.
Congrats
