i'm told this is a sad little velodrome: outdoors, poor paving, unmaintained. just a couple guys flying model airplanes instead of cyclists ripping around it.
it was a sight to behold anyway. my first as well! not even one-eighth the way around it and i fell more furiously in love with cycling.
"more furiously in love with cycling" there are not many things unimgineable to me, but this surprised me to read, quite a bit.
Just juding you from what I know (your screenname and the content of most videos) I would have thought that would not be able and if than not tooooo easy :)
what I loved was mountain tours with bike, the exhausting way up and then the freedom of racing it down for 45 minutes + beautiful sight. thats how I fell in love with bikes.
i found a velodrome in berlin. it's underground so i'm not sure yet how to get in it. love, i.

looks icy cold and I am quite glad - if not for this video I would have never seen a velodrome in my life :)
