mazda don't have ford engine it is just the media who say that mazda make their own engine and ford is using mazda's chassis.

but the new mazda 6 it has all developed by mazda engineered engine an chassis just read alot ford is just helped by media but mazda is the real thing they are the developers. mazda never use engine from ford
@wolf1010 Us model came with 2.0 and 2.3l. In Europe the M3 came with 2.0, 1.6 and 1.4 I think but I don't think that they were offering 2.3L engine. not sure tho,

People you do know in europe we dont get the 2.3, we get a 2.0 mazda 3 so it is a 2.0!

@viosub sure they have used ford engines in some of their cars when they were one co-operation company
my mazda 2 DY 06 has a ford engine for example

Think the M3 is a 2.3l. Was under the impression all the M3 hatches were 2.3l instead of 2.0l. Not a 100% sure though.

@pucus21 there is M3 with 2.3 DISI Turbo engine, it's called Mazda 3 MPS, alternatyve of MazdaSpeed3 in US
