Hey guys, I'm selling my Hot Toys The Dark Knight 1/6 Batman Original Costume. IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX, so it's used. I've kept it on display in my room, that's it. It has all the original pieces with it, as well as the original box. The only problem with it is it has some dust on it. If you're interested in buying it, message me and we can work out a price.

@MrREALM1000 Nah I'm not rich by any means I just pre-ordered it from a website that imported it from Hong Kong, it was still pretty pricey. You can now buy it on ebay though it goes for a lot.

I am SOOOOOO glad I bought this when it was 1st announced over at BBTS. I was able to buy mine for $165.00 and of coruse we all know how it sky rocketed in value once HT announced it will NEVER EVER be offered again.

Well no offense taken I guess, though you are trying to prove me wrong. It is clearly stated on the hot toys website that it is for china and japan, it is not uncommon for a little mom and pop comic store to buy it on eBay congrats to your brother it's a great figure, can you  ask him how much he got it for? Also DC direct never imported this and that's what I meant by that comment.

Fo sho I knew this and wanted it from day one I'm so glad I pre ordered it when I did, never really had interest in the DK costume though there is rumors of a MMSDX of the Dark Knight costume coming out.

yeah its prob. up to 200.00 or more now but I got it for 160.00 when it came out. It was also shipped from Hong Kong which is the only place you can get it.

And Work on your lighting Maybe getting a better camera with a Very bright or maybe even brighter L.E.D light im just giving you some advice, anyway GET BETTER LIGHTING maybe even a different Lamp or Fan with lamp. Anyway Great Video Hope you have more on these Dark knight stuff AND use that same music Sounds awsome!!!

Hella good or so I hear it can be put in really extreme poses! But since the suit is rubber its not recommended since it may cause it to break quicker, thats why I have mine posed in a simple standing pose.

I think I've said it before but around Dec. if not then Jan for sure, Hong Kong receives figures early cause thats where they are made and then they are shipped to America about a month later or so.

I wish soon but the sad reality is that DC direct only has the rights to distribute 3 Hot Toys figures, Dark Knight Batman Joker and Bank Robber Joker, which is a exclusive to America, the Batman in the review is a exclusive to Japan and Hong Kong until DC direct gets the rights to distribute it.

I'm just getting word that HT might've had problems with the rubber in the factory.

I have to agree with you, it's not a bad oder, if anything it does smell kind different and good BUT I was worried about LEAD, I have a newborn at home. Heck, it's bad for adults as well. So weird that Takara has zero oder but my HT is strong.

FYI, my review will be up on Sat afternoon. HT vs Takara vs DC Direct! It will be a no holds brawl.....lol

Actually I love that smell its the smell of plastic, and any action figure has it. It lets you know that this figure is straight from the factory. Though I haven't really smelled my Batman he might smell like rubber. Also I don't think its toxic.

The smell is pretty much gone like they were saying on the message boards and even though HT never got back to me, I relaxed and have accepted the fact that i'm 99.9% certain thst it's not toxic.

Having a newborn and a Batman arrive from China in the same week was a tad overwhelming for me but it's all good now.

How's your Batman holding up or is it still in the box?

i ordered a hot toys dark knight version from ebay but they failed to mention that it's coming in october, I was wondering if the release dates are different between us and hong kong?

Actually from what I've heard thats the release date for Hong Kong, the earliest I've heard is about mid September, but October is probably when its coming out. They were making changes to the suit as well which may delay it. Hot Toys wants to make it as accurate to the film as possible.

Just collected the figure. Its awesome. Have you tried removing the head to replace it with the Christian Bale head sculpt? When I removed the batman head on mine, it pulled out the entire thing including the neck joint. I can't get that neck joint to come off so I can connect the Bale head. Its on there really tight..

Haven't heard anything about it being hard most pics I've seen of the Christian Bale head has the neck on it, hmmm just don't break but try pulling it off.

No prob. I think if you ever get around to it you should get this one, I mean I like it better than the new costume. Though I really like the Dark Knight movie the costume just doesn't do it for me. I like the all black look and the bigger logo on the chest.
