Here's the thing...I'm a Christian and find alot of this guys stuff awesome to listen to. I have no problem with atheists or anyone elses faith. I believe that every person has the right to believe whatever they want to believe, plain and simple. Even the Bible says that people have to free will to choose whatever they want. What bothers me though is that it seems alot of atheists wont be satisfied until religion is abolished and everyone is an atheist. Isnt that what atheists say Christians do?

At no point in the bible does it say "science is fake". True we have adam and eve and all the old testament, but 90% of reasonable minded Christians realise that it was a simplistic explanation for simpler times.
My point is that people get fixated on something, and worship it. This is similar to religion.

The reason there is so much retaliation by atheists, is because atheism isn't fully accepted in society, particularly American society, in relation to high-income nations. I have a number of Christian friends who would likely shun me if they knew that I didn't believe in their God. It's a sad reality, so I avoid it when and where I can.
Basically, when acceptance by Christians eventually takes place, only then can the existential argument have less tension.
