how do u get the medusa head glyph and level it up? also,how do u plain level up owl glyph zombie glyph spider glyph etc. etc.? i have all of those glyphs. i still havnt beat death yet... by the way,im level 39.any1 have albus mode?

There is a much easier way take vol luminato and Melio Macir and the R Dominus ( if u want take ring of death if u r good at avoiding his attacks) without the ring u make with the y up att 700 dmg and with u make 1k dmg 4 times special and the Death is death =) takes 15 seconds...

If you glyph union Nitesco and a weapon and spam it, he dies much faster...

I don't know the mechanics of it, but there's a glitch you can exploit with death where he gets caught in a single attack pattern, making him easy to hit with ignis. It was really early in the game and I was maybe three character spaces away to the left.

Use Rapidus Fio. The force field projected as you run nullifies those mini-scythes that Death likes to spam, and makes it easier to jump between those spinning red things.

@colatto En realidad no, solo necesita ponerse 2 Nitesco para atacar doble y usar Sapiens Fio para aumentar daño. Yo lo hice sin siquiera usar a las medusas para protegerme de las guadañas.

I managed to to do it on emulator.

I used to 2 of those Vol Luminatio and the speedy thing. With the speedy thing was able to move from one side to the other and attack far without geting hurt.

An even easier way is to use the glyph from barlowe, vol luminato as a union, uses 50 hearts but did 500 damage if you have sapiens fio as well. Do that 3 times, and then use nitesco a couple times and he dies very easily.

Yeah, the Castlevania series are one of the best rpg series you can see today. This game is one of the best Castlevanias... and one of the most difficult aswell, Circle of the Moon is aswell really difficult, but Symphony of the Night is regarded as being the best Castlevania, but personally I think this one is really really good aswell. You should play it!

This boss, shouldn't he be a special boss? I mean, wouldn't it be more spectacular if you met him a few times before actually fighting him? And if you saw a cutscene of him saying 'you've come to far, now I shall cut your soul out!' Isn't this boss supposed to be dracula's right hand?

The only games I believe where Death actually did anything other than appear as a boss once, was in all the 3D castlevania games, Portrait of Ruin, and Rondo of Blood I guess, since he did appear twice.

I might be forgetting one though.

@Clariex18 in curse of darkness he is a mayor character who not only disguises into a priest in order to set you a trap, he also fights against another mayor character, helps directly in the resurrection of dracula (like shaft in symphony of the night) and of course, you have to fight him

@DrsJacksonn the scenes you describe wishing to have been in this game, with death having inter-cut scenes talking to the main character, those exact types of scenes happened in the symphony of the night game. it would be silly for death to say the same things to the main character over and over in multiple games.

Either kill a ton of enemies or absorb more of the Gorgon glyphs. (32 I believe.)

I use the shoes that make you invisible when you dash that way the blades and those black balls did not hit me how do you get 5 medusa heads and 3 owls i have seen that i tried using my owl but is only in lev 1

ijust find out how to get the medusa and the owl in lev 3 you got to get the gliphs about 8 times to get to lev 2 then do it again to get lev 3

I was at level 39 with the glyphs Melio Falcis, Nitesco, and Dominus Agony equiped. I just used the union on him and it took off 812hp each hit. Killed him in less than 10 seconds.

You should backdash more versus sliding. Much less delay, plus you can cancel the distance traveled at any time with a crouch/attack/jump. I just beat him on a hard lvl1 cap with no previously acquired items. TBH, it's impossible for me to play OoE on my PC. Too lagtacular. I would make a video, but who would watch shaky DS footage?

maybe it's just your computer, cause it works fine for me. Death is hard, but by no means impossible. Blackmore was far worse by comparison.

You know, Rapidus Fio helps a LOT on this battle. With that you cause damage while running.

I tried that, but for some reason it made my computer lag even more than usual, letting him get in some really cheap hits.... o.O
