The atmosphere of Plok environments was so magical and original could be rare if you want to call it like that. Specially AKRILLIC. Had some sort of asian architecture style. Can you guys imagine what would it be like seeing a new PLOK on PS3. AAAAAAH
I remember making him either pause or just make PLOK sit there doing nothing so that I could get all the music without any sound effects... man I've been holding onto that tape for all these years & with all the plays & use, the high end of the EQ has obviously worn down a bit & even boosting it back up with an exterior EQ these days, it still doesn't sound as crisp as these YouTUBE videos! But close... Anyways, THANX for posting these PLOK! jams!!!
I immediately snatched up one of his dad's nearby high-quality cassette tapes, popped it into his high-quality cassette tape recorder that was hooked up to the TV/cable/laser-disc(LOL) player/insanely high-quality BETA recorder/& of course... SNES &b proceeded to record every single different track of music that came on as my friend played...
This game had some of the most amazing music!!! ( as if you guys aren't already aware! ) I remember renting this game back in the mid 90s & as soon as my friend & I turned it on, we looked at each other & said WOW!!
Finally a clean copy of this song without the screwed up emulation. The beginning part definitely creeps you out and fitting for the creepy forest level (not so much for the flea pit levels). The chill, almost gangsta beat that drops at 1:00 just threw me off when I first heard it, like dammmmnn. Then it jumps back to creepy mode, with organs blazing. Another great track out of many for Plok. I still have the old SNES cartridge.
Lol can't believe you're up to 922, good stuff man keep it up. Hopefully you're only posting songs you genuinely like and enjoy and not just any past gen console song you can find. I trust it's the former though :D
The beginning is straight outta LTTP, then at 1:00 it turns into a Pink Floyd song. Others have said this, but I thought the same thing. Really good game, used to own it back in the day.
The Follin brothers really brought some genius work for Plok. Love the soundtrack, they definitely knew how to fully take advantage of a console's soundchip.

Once it gets into it, it reminds me a hell of a lot of Pink Floyd.

Anyone else think that most of the first minute sounds like Diablo/Diablo II? After the piccolo sounding part that is.

This sounds like a gorillaz instrumental. A claymation game that's not the neverhood? hmm... I might need to play it at some point.

Sounds similar to ALTTP Dark World Dungeon, at least the intro does.

@SNKennedy100 This is the Dark World dungeon music, if there were some hallucinogen found along the way, a la MOTHER 3 Tanetane Island.
