Ok GUYS - who can asnwer my question:

Lemme break it down

-Had a sony ericcson w580i (Peicea' crap) broke down on me and never worked again

-I'm on AT&T

-got this bb pearl off of Ebay

-Used my same SIM card from the Sony erricson, and put it in the bb pearl

-Now since BB uses internet and updates itself, will I get charged for anything extra?

-plan usage: limited calls, unlimited texting, limited internet usage

-will I get charged for just *using* a BB pearl?

blackberry keyboards are the shit.

i can type a paragraph in less than a minute its so much-easier once u lear how to use everything. oh and the battery life on a pearl is great mine lasted for 4 days once and no on standby.

The first time I actually use the Pearl, I was kinda hoping it's different phone experience from others, where I can feel a big difference and a special feeling about it 'cause it's a Blackberry. But later I realized it just feels like ordinary Nokia smart phones.

It is different but I was wrong about what I see about the phone and that I was just expecting too much about the phone.

Just my personal view.

the 8130(sprint/edvo) is hella better. it has high speed Internet, records video, and a few other tweaks. i love my pearl, i got it for free and its the greatest phone i ever owned. it just takes a few hours to learn how everything works because the bb os is a different/better than other phones os's
