40-50 is about right (no offence by any means) the more expensive helmets are bondoed on the outside to make it smoother and etch in more details (and it makes the paint look nicer too) but the first one i built the folding was horrible so i had to use bondo just to make it decent O.o

but also the money for the materials and time is hardly compensated by $40 to make the money you need to make a plaster mold of it and make more out of plastic so less time is consumed and well its a little cheaper each on but mostly the time consumption is lessened.
