This laptop isn't bad but, but the acer aspire 5520G is way better 250GB HDD, 2.1GHz AMD Turion dual core, 9300M G with 256 dedicated RAM and up to 1535MB of RAM, with blu ray. But the graphics card be upgraded because it's not as good as the rest of the laptop it sorta brings it down.

omg, ASPIRE ONE is a netbook, with 10'' screen, and the acer aspire 5520g is a common laptop with 15.4'' screen...

yeah it can. but u have to install that xtra. they originally come with Linux or windows xp.

well it depends on what you consider easy? to remove the windows xp (that is set originally) and then re install the holw vista (of course you have to buy that too). If I would be you, I'd stick with good old xp. mine runs that and it's perfect :)

What did you end up getting? Im not a fan of the HP, its a little too bulky and heavy. The Samsung and Toshiba's are better alternatives.

mini 1000..this thing is too tiny..mini 1000 is worth the extra bit of cash
