I'll take the Tesla any day. Your BMW is so ugly. The Tesla says supercar. Your BMW has homemade written all over it. It's fast, but I can't really take it seriously.

By the way, what kind of batteries does your car use? I highly doubt they're better than Tesla's, because you can't drive your car through a snow storm or through Death Valley like you can with a Tesla.

@TecnamTwin I would take the BMW because the Warp 11 HV DC motor would rip the gear box out of a weak Tesla. The torque is crazy and the horsepower is over 500+.

@TecnamTwin You dont know what you're talking about. Nothing in that BMW is home made, EVERYTHING is developed from scratch and made with the most modern machines. The batteries are actually much better than the ones in Tesla. The car is faster, it has a better range than Tesla, and it recharges much faster than Tesla. By the way, this guy made a car with 1100 HP and 3800 Nm of torque that has 600 km range. Will tesla beat that?

@TecnamTwin By the way, Mate Rimac is not some kid who just works in his garage, he actually patented a lot of stuff, like 3D keyboard gloves for PC, and he actually sold his patent of lane departure warning system to many car makers, and almost all cars have that system today. Thats how he got famous at first.

Ma ovo su gluposti!Tesla je komercialno vozilo u slobodnoj prodaji sa autonomijom od preko 200Km dok ovaj BMW ne moze ici vise od 50Km 100%!Stvar je u naponu,snazi i obrtnom momentu!Ovo je trka na 100m i to nista ne govori.Neosporno je ovaj BMW odlicno odradjen ali to je vozilo na kratke staze,dkle gubi na svemu ostalom.Uzmi Fiat uno i ubaci dva motora sa Suzuki Hayabuse pa ces da vidis kako ide.Najlakse ga je nasvirati da ima ubrzanje, a ostalo??

Niš to nije novo. Električni auti su se radili prije benzinskih.

Osim toga usporedba je bezveze. Ovaj BMW je prototip (poluproizvod) i nedovršen auto a Tesla je gotov proizvod. Pitanje je kakav bi auto bio kao gotov proizvod na tržištu, koliko bi koštao, kakve bi karakteristike imao.

Mislim, ono, možeš i Fiću napravit da ide brže od Ferrarija...ali pitanje dolazi kad predstaviš neki auto kao gotov proizvod, koliko košta, kakav dizajn ima itd itd

kind of an unfair advantage, The BMW had drag radials on it where the tesla roadster is running on street tires, you won the race with the holeshot, If you gave the tesla the same tires as the BMW the race would have been much closer, also I see you said the batteries in the tesla were almost drained and the bmw was fully charged. Y r u scared of running a tesla strait up? You set it up to fail!

@TheBishopSSR; thank you for your comment, this converted BMW has better batteries than Tesla with almost the same range (BMW is heavier) and it has been created to kick ass to other petrol cars on drag races. Tesla is buld as commuter car in very nice sporty package so no wander that BMW was faster. Also in this race Tesla's batteries were almost empty and BMW was freshly charged and that really matters in drag race. Also would be interesting to see race between this BMW and Tesla Sport .

@Svemirowski It really doesn't matter if the car is empty or full since they both use Li-ion batteries which have the same power trough the whole state of charge range. The thing is that the BMW is more than twice the power of the Tesla Roadster. The Tesla Roadster Sport has just a few horses more, the BMW would still beat it by far.

I'd still get a Tesla Roadster. That converted BMW has a range of what? Probably around 50 miles at most- to achieve that acceleration and speed. While Tesla can be used AS A COMMUTER CAR, with a rangle of 240 miles.

And they ALREADY have whole another version of batteries, which are under 2 inches thin and they can fin in the floor of the car... they developing them for their car ... so Mileage will be huuuuuge !! sry for bad english

@jjunfer No need to excuse yourself for your "bad" English, the main thing is that Croatia is producing high quality extremely well designed elctric cars that stand up to ANY other electric car on the market today. Actually the Croatian produced cars have the longest range of any electric cars and by far the fastest charging times, made possible by batteries developed by Croatian engineers. And the newest Concept One car is a real looker too, besides being the fastest of them all :) Samo naprid!
