The lack of football knowledge on Youtube is actually quite unbelievable! Mainly because of Americans and 'soccer' but also because of little English and European kids who only know footballers from the last 10years wtf!
We all can debate about this lists from now to infinity, becos this is an issue undebatable.Everyone has different opinions and like.In my opinion, there is no top lists, becos these players were unique individually in skills,accuracy and dedication to the game of soccer.They were all best in various ways, kudos to all that grace the field.
Nice music but some terrible decisions regarding the list: no way Beckham should be included! And I was surprised to see Milla, Raul or even Henry. Why is no Di Stefano, Socrates, Bergkamp or Eusebio? And Zidane should at least be in the top five.
What's with no GKs? Banks, Yashin, Schmeichel, and Zoff are way better than Beckham, who wouldn't even make my top 100! For one, what major competitions has he won? A few league titles and Europe in 1999 with Man U, the only titles in Europe for him, and an MLS Supporters Shield? That's nothing. Having Henry & Cantona is risky. Raul is good but not legend, and I've never heard of Junior (#18). Also, Zidane is better than Stoichkov, and where is Di Stefano & Eusebio? Otherwise the list is solid.
Some seriously dodgy choices here. No goalkeepers mentioned at all either, Peter Schmeichel and Gordon Banks would make the top 25, so would Maldini and Baggio. Where is Di Stefano?!

Simply where is Sir Stanley, granted most of the 25 are greats in 2006, but now I doubt Ronaldinho would get that high on most people's lists. Just cant get my head around why Sir Stan is not even in the top 10 is a head shaking moment for me

@kimranchik Of course world cups are important but you have to take into account the whole picture. Di Stefano missed the 62 WC thru injury, and Argentina didn't take part in 2 others. Puskas was still outstanding in the 54 WC and for Hungary as well as Real.
@mizofan i would also like to note that all of this puscas, eusebio, di stefano nominations for the top 10 lists reeks of the 60s bias, the decade when the english won their one and only world cup. it's their way of saying look what kind of opposition the english faced in the 60s, therefore i have a suspicion that all of these nominations are being pushed by the english media. another "great" one they've been pushing is lev yashin. a very good goalie, but nowhere near top 20 quality.
@kimranchik I'm no fan of England, far from it, i can't stand the nationalism of the English media, but i see Puskas and Di Stefano as more 50s than 60s, and Yashin by general international consent took goalkeeping to a new level. Of course with players from before our own time, we have to rely a bit on received wisdom as well as records and film clips (usually limited in number from decades ago, and only show a small part of the overall picture).

I fear you may well be overlooking John Charles in this list. World class at Centre Forward and Centre Back, something none of the players in this could have been. What he did at Juventus led to him being voted 'the greatest foreign player ever in Serie A',ahead of Maradona, Michel Platini, Marco Van Basten and Zinedine Zidane. Others may have been better in their specific roles but no-one will ever be able to command such respect in two slots. He never even got a booking in his entire career.
I agree with much of what you said here also maybe i missed but no Roberto Baggio either? Also there is nothing wrong with pele at number one but i have him at 3rd all time behind Zidane and Maradona because he played his club ball in Brazil rather than in Europe.

zidane is way to low one of the greatest football minds i beleive. i think beckham is also to low in his prime he was a very adaptable player if played with cruyff they could have utalised the concept of total football and take it to a whole new level beckham in his prime was the best crosser in my opinion he was dead accurate with precision timing. Sure there are other great free kick shots i.e. r.carlos c.ronaldo beckham has the ability to stay cool and score in the last minute and equalise.

It´s really hard to form a list with the best players of all time because each player was important in his own time period. If you wanna make a list of the top scorers, the list would change. If you wanna make a list of the most titles won, the list would change. Actually no, Pele would still be #1. Also, this list includes pretty much only midfielders and attackers. I fear you may well be overlooking John Charles in this list. World class at Centre Forward and Centre Back, something none of the players in this could have been. What he did at Juventus led to him being voted 'the greatest foreign player ever in Serie A',ahead of Maradona, Michel Platini, Marco Van Basten and Zinedine Zidane. Others may have been better in their specific roles but no-one will ever be able to command such respect in two slots. He never even got a booking in his entire career.
