I think you are confusing irresponsible drug use, with responsible use. We want RESPONSIBLE use to be legal. Going to work high, is IRRESPONSIBLE, and should remain illegal.

I have no problem with an employer, firing some dumbass who went to work high. The idiot deserved it.

What SHOULD be legal, is the right to use a safer drug than alcohol, as long as we do so responsibly. People are allowed to drink alcohol as long as they are responsible, why not weed?

A safer drug? you've got to be kidding. Any drug that distorts the mind and senses has the ability to kill and maim. I don't want anyone with a legal or illegal drug in their body driving a vehicle. Don't tell me they don't drive. They do.

Never said anything about driving. Of COURSE it should still be illegal to drive while intoxicated!

But that does not mean we have to ban the drug. Cannabis would be legal to use, as long as you do so responsibly.

Just use similar laws for Weed as those for Alcohol.

And yes, a safer drug. And yes, we can put measures on such things. As long as it is used responsibly, with moderation, by adults, then there is no problem, no death and destruction. And it should be legal for that.
