actually,i have xxy chromosomes,so actually i think someone like me would know such things inside&out

intersex is what all people display in characteristics,not sex characteristics....just behaviours and such...the technical understanding for most people would fall under the category intergendered

but intersexed is what most human beings end up being when you exclude gender from the human programming!

xxy was an excellent title for this film despite it not explaining xxys like me

It was not about an XXY guy,I've got no clue why they called it that but the movie was about a kid with

another Intersex condition.Sadly I don't know which one!

no.it wasnt.you are right.

twas about a hermaphrodite person.1with 2 sets of genitals

but because the person looked predominantly like a"female"but quite obviously had a male looking piece of genitalia resembling more of a penis.

it brought up questions of:if we were all herms,then would homosexuality then cease2exist because what is sex&how many sexes are there?are we just people after all,dont we all just need to be treated as individuals rather than as 1 sex or the other

I think the movie showed how gender identity becomes consuming even if a xxy person doesnt want it to, not just cause thats all they hear from society, but basically cause it grants you a non-"vanilla" sex life

If someone attacks you, you should take it as an opportunity - you can learn how to attack them, and hurt them worse, verbally obviously, I think that was the point you were digging for, and then you wont be victimized

though im Not XXY Im still very interested in this. I dont mean to be rude by capatolizing the 'N' in the word "not"...just trying to define that I sapose....anywho...I was woundering though, what...I mean I know you dont consider yourself male or female, but what about sexual prefrence? agen..I dont mean to be rude or anything, realy...I was just woundering since I read about hormon imbalances in XXY's and was wounderin if that afected sexuality

the film xxy is not about a human being with xxy, actually she has the adrogenital syndrome what makes her a female hermaphrodite (with xx) and not intersexual (in the med. point of view)....it was quite confusing for me to find out

i know that the character in the film was not like a typical xxy

many people now think i am an hermaphrodite under my clothes because of this film

which doesnt bother me at all

i am actually thrilled that this film was done and called xxy

if it was called anything else....no one would have gotten the point of intersex in this world

the confusing part to all of this is the interference and control of wording that the medical institutions have on all of us

how could a hermaphrodite not fit into an intersex condition

i am fast becoming an expert on intersex and the issue of intersex

i disagree with the med.point of view ,it exactly confuses people and is of no help to spreading awareness that we dont live on a planet made up of "males" and "females"

lets talk that we are "masculine" and "feminine"...in varying degrees!

that's exactly like it is for me, I have never been able to read a book and know what the hell is going on, I'd have to use some other means like getting a summary and then just skimming for lines later to try to get some kind of specifics. I've always done well though when someone explains something to me and answers all my questions I'll never forget it, not in my life. In science for example I'll always try to understand things completely and try to either know how everything works or give up
