I spent about two hours on a 26 foot sailboat, and the water was really calm, I guess...the boat just had a slow, steady rocking, back and forth.......man, making me sick now...Anyway, I just rode with my back against the mast of the boat, and prayed that I didn't throw up on everybody.....one of the worst days of my life.....As for this video, I am wondering just who is holding that camera, in the same storm....WHAT A STEADY HAND ! ! ! ! !

When your onboard a vessel like this one, all you can do is hold on. The newfoundlanders call it " pounding and smashing". Truthfuly boys, this is not an unusual storm, just a bad one. My concern is how close she is to the shore. Better to be far at sea.

My ship is a similar size to that one and I've been caught out in similar weather. We had five nights out on those seas once (force 12) and needless to say, didn't get any sleep and didn't keep my food down! I wouldn't trade my job for anything though. Great video btw. Where was it taken from?
