my favs so far are saaaammmmyyyy, gary and sean. i dunno why, but i hate the sob stories. these three so far seem to be the only ones without sob stories, they just get in and do it. sean, diabetes. sam, youngest. gary, heaviest. but they dont complain, they just do it. this show inspires so many people, i think its excellent.

The aussie version is excellent, i tried the uk one (being a brit myself) but had to turn it off, it was rubbish compared to this.

michelle shouldn't have let that one girl in... i think her name was sheraton... she was smiling the whole freakin time. she didn't seem like she wanted it. the ones who are crying and still pushing are the ones who need it. like that one chick allison. now she seemed like she really wanted it.

That workout was a great idea, because every time someone wants to quit and play 10 year old like some of the guys in previous season, then they think back to that day and how they fought for their place in the house.

The Australian version is a national disgrace, you don't see crap like this on UK and US versions. Whats wrong with the Aus public for excepting this, children are able to watch this cruelty, and go to school the next day to insult or be insulted because obviously its ok to take vulnerable people, get their hopes up, roll them around in mud, and then crush them like a slug.

Disappointed in Shannan - 'so the journey continues...but not in here'. Cruelty wasn't a quality I'd associated with Shannan, until now. Hopefully, it was just a verbal faux pas, and a very thoughtless one, at that. Trainers have been given a bigger role in this one...perhaps the responsibility's gone to Shannan's head a bit? The twins thing...ratings are king, and Shannan is playing the game. How more outrageous can the background sob stories become, I wonder?

its pretty clear they played it in slow motion (the part were shannan says not in here... ) so in real life it probaly didnt sound that bad...

Selecting the contestants by filtering is a good idea because the contestants that earned there way in realized that they had to work hard for it. It wasn't a freebie, therefore, it will give the selected contestants the drive to work harder because they were chosen based on their efforts and drive.

do they know how horrible it feels? they thought they had a chance, then they realised they had to fight for it, which is okay, BUT THEY ALL HAVE FRIGGING SELF ESTEEM ISSUES. you make them fight so so so hard and they put themselves out there so much, then you SAY NO.

gosh, i dont think many of them will go back and continue the weight loss. that prob just crushed them.

1st season, jillian told only 1 contestant to drop and give her 10 @ the beginning.

2nd season, michelle told them all to drop and give her 10, but they were all allowed in the house.

this season, they're in the rain, mud, and god knows what else for 2 hours to PROVE themselves for a spot. if this is any indication of how this season is going to be, i'm thinking the medic will be called much more than last season-which was more than i've ever seen the medic called in any B.L. anywhere!
