true, I never thought about that, but hes got a point, stuff just gets slower and we need better hardware to run that stuff in a reasonable time. Just look at vista vs 7, 7 boots up a million times slower then vista. and even vista is slow...
No thats just lazy inexperienced programmers writing slower code becasue they can get away with it on faster hardware. In the old days programmers needed to write faster code in order to get things done in a reasonable time. With faster hardware there is less pressure to write better code so updates over a long period of time will slow down the computer as it is expected to be run on faster hardware. Just look at Vista vs 95.
