  • I MOSTLY LIKE DUBAI! XD

  • Are the inhabitants friendly towards Americans?

  • Love it! I LOVE how the UAE has all the luxuries and technology, but they know how to balance it with nature! So clean!

  • Abu Dhabi is an example for all the Middle East

  • Nice

  • seems like paradise!

  • 3:09 Isn't the tram on the wrong side of the road?

  • My Dad might be living here. He has a job opportunity to be a airplane Pilot flying out of Abu Dhabi... Seems the most random place to me ( I'm American and have never left the USA) but I'm optimistic :) is it a good place to live?

  • @pizzaboy1250 funny you mention that, because the reason I am watching this video is because I may one day fly for an international airline. Is your dad looking into Etihad Airlines?

  • @pizzaboy1250

hey! just saw your comment about abu-dhabi and that your dad might be working there. its a lovely place. i lived there for 17 years and that was before all this technology :) x

is there any finger? does finger have another meaning?

me not eng user i cant understand....

  • I would literally kill to live here !!

  • Watching the ongoing condition,it becomes clear to me that the country needs to focus on productivity rather than making it home for others. It's one of the most important need and is the key element for progress. If it's done, the country doesn't need to depend on foreign investment and tourism based planning. So pay more attention on productivity to gain sustainability that will help to remove major ongoing problems of the market and jobs in the country. The other plans as mentioned are all right.

  • Everyone kill @Lukinsonsssr.

  • damd if you see this video, i'd love to live there and i'm belgian

  • does abu dhabi ever donate money when catastrophes happen?...just saying. they could use the money on something better than trying to be the best place in the world, greedy bitches

  • @daisylovesmoy

  • ALLAH AKBAR inshah Allah Soon My Other Haous im Driver in Abu Dhabi

  • I'm from Abu dhabi

  • LOL i live there (:

  • Ambitious!

  • i feel proud :D

  • I'm trying to understand this phenomenon in UAE. Outside of petroleum, they don't seem to be producing much. There's is an explosion of construction taking place and they are taking in increasingly more imports. Most of the outrageous growth seems to be coming from profits from oil revenue and foreign capital, It seems unsustainable IMO. If oil profits dip and RE-markets deteriorate I'll be interested to see how this city and Dubai will react.

  • @dmoton314 Dubai's oil production already represents 6% of the Emirate GDP. They're planning to build a country on the same bases as Sinagapore. Based on free market and tourims. Besides the cost of construction there is really low due to the cheap labor and great infraestrcuture.

  • @Goingby20s I believe I was thinking more of Dubai World's debt crisis when I made that comment and not the UAE as a whole. Before Dubai was bailed out, I was telling my brother "there's no way all that growth is sustainable!" I was there in 2008 and I saw the most incredible real estate development I had ever seen, but it just didn't seem normal. They were having a Chinese style real estate boom without the massive Chinese-style productivity rate. Maybe it's my American perspective?

  • @dmoton314 I belive you're in parts right, but you known what some say "supply create demand"

  • @Goingby20s But if that supply becomes elastic...

  • lived here for 8 years love abu dhabi<3

  • this makes me want to move there.

  • I Was just wondering as An American Tourist......this may sound dumb but it actually is a worth while question......Are you allowed to live with the same rights as everyone else in the UAE if you are Jewish?

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX Yes, as long as you're not Israeli.

  • @Goingby20s I'm not, however, I feel that there will still be feelings of hatred due to being Jewish in general.

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX You need to look at the cause of that GENERAL HATRED...

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX

no one will ask you about your religion, or care about it, politically there is a defrentiation between locals and expats, wich is the case all over the world, "political correctness" is a must there as well as elsewhere............ but you can also reverse the question: are you allowed to live with the same rights as everyone else in the USA or Israel if you are NOT Jewish?

  • @mr0important Of course! Israel has over 2,000,000 non jews living there! They have full voting rights and freedom of religion. Israel's parliment and supreme court has Muslim and Christian Arabs in them as well!

  • ad is the best

  • u ass holes dont u say about abu dhabi like that okay its the best country ever in life seen and i am proud to be a local in there and arabian el 7amdulela i love u UAE ABU DHABI <3 its my only city

  • Greetings from Brazil! I love Abu Dhabi! One day I will visit this city!

  • This palce sovereign fund is world’s largest and worth $1,300bn. $1.5 trillion of funds sloshing around the Middle East, but those wealth hasn’t eradicated poverty from Muslim world. The Saudis alone hold about a trillion dollars in United States assets. They buy more U.S. made weapons than Israel even though Israelis influence the world politics. Empowerment of a community is not related to the headcount of its billionaires. Please don’t talk such nonsense to me.

  • 4:35 locals take the transit?! LMAO!

  • @Tinalegs Why not ? :\

  • Slowest I've ever seen a car on the roads of AUH...

  • @justroll : I was planning on contradicting you but noticed the word 'troll' in you username which means there is no need for it

  • hahahahahaaaaaaaiiii 1:12 plan Abu Dhabi 2030 for Indians. man our country is filled with Indians :( whats left for us locals?

  • wow sure is cool, I am gonna go do and build a church and a synagogue

  • i live in abu dhabi and its a shithole and its currently being built by slave wages by philipino's,abu dhabi is the next corrupt future city

  • Abu Dhabi looks good but I find it really boaring don't mind it!

  • I must vacation there sometime, or do business deals in Abu Dhabi.

  • most important thing is u will do this realy

  • all i can say is awesome.

  • Very nice country, very nice people, very nice city!

  • Very impressive.

  • This is beautiful. I think this would work perfect for Abu Dhabi. It might even work for Dubai too. I don't think it would work for the average American or Canadian city, we'd have to find our own way of building something like this while considering North American climate. In UAE it is always hot and has very little precipitation which makes this type of building ideals and technology perfect and would work well.

I can't wait to see the progress on these projects.

  • @mikejay007 not really the climate is harsh, we would build this stuff if we had the money, we could benefit also

  • What a beautiful country!

  • @vford43 Its a city idiott -_-

  • @Thetrutv I hope the people in Dubai is as kind as you:)

  • @vford43 Yes me 2

  • @Thetrutv It was not a complement. Now who's the idiot:)

  • @vford43 Son of a bitch, that was meant to ignore you...

  • @Thetrutv Hmmmmm, it is clear that you have either a mental issue or need anger management classes:) Get a life sweetie; b/c I could care less.

  • Yes. I know this city. City of creative people. There is a sound real business.

  • is it rel has coming meterio in 2012

  • DAMN! I wish I was a Emirati.

I really want those views in my home. Really Awesome!!!

  • is it real on meterio on 2012 is rel on meterio

  • @saman1820 yep... there is a metro in dubai and i guess they r making a metro in abu dhabi

  • very nice and interesting but why we only see MENS in withe dress, where are the WOMENS, where in this city the womens???

did you forget that particular aspect of human life and society??

you can have all the money (oil) to get the best in the world but you can´t show the tolerance and respect necessary to be ONE GREAT NATION.

The Arabic country's only will be respect and be trust when they show that the WOMEN IS NOT AN ACCESSORY.

first free the womens, then elections, democracy, etc

  • @raseclarbac umm, hello? have u ever been here? there's women here im one of them actually :)

1st its just a video, its not real 2nd dont forget that the number of the males is mush more than the number of the females because of the Foreigns here, most of them are men.. Indians, Pakistani, etc. well, i agree with u @ one point," SOME" of the Arab countries dont respect their women, but i believe that this will change oneday but UAE isnt one of these countries trust me ;)

  • the ONE thing i regret about abu dhabi is that its got stuff like night clubs and people also drink their wallahi these leaders must understand that they should make ALLAH azwajal happy instead of angry, if ALLAH azwajal is happy with you then imagine nothing bad can happen to you and if your a just leader and you keep your land pure and raise the flag of islam in it, i mean we should keep it pure from stuff like jahaliya... may ALLAH azwajal give you more succes abu zhabi, love from pakistan.

  • i figured out why the muslim leaders/royal families/presidents sell the oil to THE U.S. to gain enough money to produce like these buildings and then when the oil runs out we muslim will be the leaders of earth because we invisted making our own technolgy or buying out others ideas/technolgy

  • @Ahmadxboy "When the oil runs out we muslim will be the leaders of earth" What the fuck makes you think like that? Dude when oil runs out thats when you guys will suffer. Understand that western scientist a trying to find a new source of power. With in 30 to 40 years from today, oil will be something of the old days.

  • @Thetrutv and that scientist will work in the universities made by the emirates seeming they are the ones investing :)

  • @Thetrutv just wait and see :D

    - who is spending billions on oil and spending it it all?

  • the only thing they need is to allow PUBLIC (NOT PRIVATE) nightclubs and bars and strip clubs and tattoo shops and gay bars ! if they do this ABU DHABI IS GOING TO BE THE BEST !

  • Comment removed

  • @xxMKG i agree with stip clubs but i will leave the gay club for u

  • Amazing what oil resources can do! :P

  • I wish I could live there. that place is imply awesome. I would love to live there in 10 years time :D

  • AMAZING

    Im without words,..

  • Egyptian , lived in Abu Dhabi since i was 3 yrs old till i finished my high school , every part of my body just say's ,, i live UAE ^^ .. god bless UAE

  • The Middle East will turn in 10-20 to the most advanced and ultra modern cities of the world.

See United Arab Emirates,Qatar,Bahrain,Kuwait,Saudi Arabia. All all mega city projects and skyscrapers.Masdar City is a city which generates his whole electricity by green energy.

The worlds biggest solar panels will be installed in Saudi Arabia.100 % Electricity by the power of the SUN.

YEAH i love the OIL :D

  • @CaptainBaseball In 10 years we'll have new reliable world-wide energy sources, and oil demand will descrease in 10-20-30 years completely to 0.There will be nothing else to do then consume what all this Arabic countries earn today. From what I understand you are also an arab.Enjoy your life today, will be over tomorrow!

  • 1: When Michelangelo did his project, at that time everyone thought it was too modern for that time. Or Picasso matter fact. So what is modern now is the future. We might not appreciate but the generation yet to come will for sure.

  • 7elw , fadeet abudhabi bas ma fe parkinat =O

  • I kinda dislike the architecture of the typical arabic buildings but if they realize the project it's gonna be amazing. I hate cities like Dubai because of their ULTRA modern stuff but this project is the best one I've seen in a long time. However it's gonna be EXTREMELY expensive but they have the money so why not?

  • btw most of the viewers come from UAE

  • DAMN COOL ABU DHABI!

  • ماشاء الله .. يا رب مصر تبقى احلى

  • ill admit some of the projects are amazing and its a nice but its mainly pakistain and indiansworking on it and its mostly ameracians and other westerners creating the projects .. and the driving is crazy however its a nice place but alot of people alays push i nes and stuff but none the less they r making good progress :)

  • ill admit some of the projects are amazing and its a nice but its mainly pakistain and indiansworking on it and its mostly ameracians and other westerners creating the projects .. and the driving is crazy however its a nice place but alot of people alays push i nes and stuff

  • Green ?, I doubt it. Practically everyone in the UAE drives an SUV or some other gas guzzling monstrosity

  • I was born here and saw it progres

  • I thank allah because i live in abu dhabi

only 5 years for complete metro abu dhabi , yas island , sawwah island , saadiyat island . reem island and new terminal 4 abu dhabi international airport.

  • I saw Abu dhabi progress through the years and hope to see this development upholding before my eyes.....I LOVE ABU DHABI

  • Beautiful

  • im gonna live there

  • Damn i wanna live there fuk California!! Looks like something out of a Final Fantasy video game!! Can anyone tell me any other cities as cool and futuristic looking as this one?

  • @NokutisuLucisCaelum Dubai and Abu Dhabi

  • This is a nice plan, but why aren't they planning to build some monorails in the city?

  • i was in abu dhabi six years ago and would really love to go back again as soon as i complete my degree... this 2030 plan looks very good too

  • What is this music? very fresh and uplifting!

  • الله يحفظ دار زآيـد .. عمآر يآبوظبي عمآر

  • i beat people post negative comments cuz they are jealous

  • JEOLOUS OF WHAT

  • @eternalgreenday I'm not. In fact, I'm very happy to see this city growing. But one problem: What is it gonna do for resource allocation?

  • Living in Abu Dhabi feels good since beginning to me, reason is it is a very peaceful place and people have helping nature and are fun to be with. seeing all these future developments i am much more impressed.

I agree there are some problems those are (a) unreasonable rents and b) due to this people share flats this is a unhealthy lifestyle,

ADUPC must plan for better housing facilities.

  • Gorgeous, modern city home to the worlds most expensive hotel... Gorgeous city and hotel built courtesy of the new global order of imported near-slave-labor of impoverished Indians and Pakistanis (earning a pittance all the while).

  • I love Abu Dhabi. I am an Emarati woman living in Dubai. The future of Abu Dhabi is the future of Dubai and all the emirates. May Allah bless the UAE and all Muslim countries.

I belive that Abu Dhabi will be much better than this by the year 2030. They already started some good projects.

We as Emarati people, always welcome tourists, and I am surprised that some poeple who have never been in the UAE are saying the opposite! It is better to hear from those who have been to our country.

  • @107UAE okk i am coming.

  • @107UAE Good for ya! ;)

I've never been there, but I am sure to find out the truth when I do.

    /slight sarcasm :P

  • @107UAE you welcome tourists do you well guess what im'e a Jewish Isreali can i come...oh wait

  • @107UAE you welcome tourists do you well guess what im'e a Jewish Isreali can i come...oh wait.

  • @107UAE welcome tourists do you oh yeah really well guess what I'm an Israeli Jew so can i come to Abu-Dhabi ... OH WAIT!!!

  • @lpm1998 Yes but come on man, with our differences did you really expect to be able to come to the UAE? Muslims and Jews have been fighting for over a thousand years now. I mean I dont know you personally and It would be wrong if said anything hurtful about you just for being an Israeli, I cannot judge you. And plus Emirati's cant enter Israel so it works both ways.

  • @vtc31 @vtc31 World thinking there is a fight between the religion of Judaism and Islam. Very wrong. It is about the land. It was Christians who committed the genocide against the Jews all along the history. It was the Muslims who always protected the Jews from the christians. And gave them the safe passage. So UAE does not mind the Jews people coming into the country. I know lots of Jew people in UAE. Its is just the Israelis from Israel for political reasons. For example USA with Cuba.

  • @107UAE I live in UAE, what do tourists say?

  • @107UAE I am a African American Woman and my daughter and I will be visiting next year for a Social Work conference! If all goes well, I hope to relocate there. BEAUTIFUL!

  • @107UAE The future of your country depends on oil demand 100%.Case closed.

  • I worked in Abu Dhabi, I had the training to build the court house, I fell in love with the most beautiful Arab state, I hope to find a job to return to live that dream, I'm Italian muslim. allah akbar, long live the family

  • @107UAE revelation chapter 18 vs 1 to 24

  • can people start actually talking about the architecture and city planning skills now please? Not cultural differences for a change?

I wish some people could admit that there are going to be things we don't like. Probably there are others that feel the same but do the world a favour and shut the hell up like the rest of us and be polite. You wouldn't speak to people like this to their faces, would you?

  • @Malbo22 Do you "speak to people like this to their faces" . . . "shut the h*(( up"? Nice comment (???????????) Oh yes; you're certainly polite. Put your money where your mouth is, please.

  • but what of the world ends in 2012 ?? what happens then?

  • do you realy belive thatth world is going to vanish in 2012 ?

  • the poster of this video must DISABLE comments because some people are simply very negative...

  • I dont think it will be green at all. Its just a fancy word they toss around. In fact I dont doubt it will be come the most polluted city in the world.

  • I think they will beat all the countries out there because what the world haven't planed yet they have done it so wake up an smell the coffee

  • i think that abu dhabi will be a nice city but they will never beat singapore !!!
