  • where did you buy the ammo? is it a web sight or from some one?

  • just got 200 rounds of 8mm yugo ammo for $30

  • @nick21sammy where did you get that ammo?

  • @DEOXYS987 Trademe dot com. but you have to live in New Zealand to be able to buy from there.

  • the k98 is a far better rifle in my opinion

  • Hey boss how far can these rifles shoot 1000 yards? thinking of buying an m48.

  • @glasseverywhere why not get a M1

  • @jlc2100 Ammo for the M1 (30.06) runs ~$0.85-$1.00 per round where as you can easily purchase military surplus 8mm Mauser ammo for about $0.20-$0.30 per round. Personally I love both rifles though, my best friend has an M1 and I have a K98, both are beautiful rifles and very fun to shoot.

  • I saw a k98 for 400.$ .. now i was looking into getting it but not sure where to get the 8mm mauser its not a commen . what i really like is that it had the nazi party marking so i know it was made or even used durring ww2.. 1. ammo cost and availability ,and whats a good price for a k98

  • @1JOHNBOY213 ammo is dirt cheap. yugo ammo is about $0.25 a shot or $5 for a box of 20. sgammo/com has got 500 for $100 but they are corrosive so you need to clean your rifle with water. takes 2 seconds but if you dont do it youll destroy the gun. i got my m48 for about 235. a kar98 is more expensive today 400 could be a good price idk but check the bore for pitting and see if it has good rifling.

  • @cheeseshoes alright cool thanks for the info

  • guns are made for killing, kids

  • @uzickimajmunac ya but the booms are so much fun

  • 2 Good looking rifles,thanks for posting.

  • wich do u think is better the m48 or k98

  • how much you want for the k98k please if your willing to sell it to me, cause i am dying for one this christmas

  • @xXSOKkenrusXx I guess I'll hang on to it, since I re-did the bluing & stock, I've gotten kind've fond of it

  • @TMoorej yeah i guess since you work on them and stuff you actually get more attached to them, same thing goes for a lot of stuff.

  • @xXSOKkenrusXx yea, it's really a straight shooting rifle

  • I received an M48 as a Christmas gift a few years back and love it! I'm jealous of you having a K98! That is a gorgeous rifle!

  • @bluegrassman thanks a lot!

  • @bluegrassman thanks!

  • @TMoorej dont you think that the k98 looks better then the m48 since it dosent have that ugly bump of hill thing in the middle. by the way i also got me a Kar 98k so yeah

  • @xXSOKkenrusXx you're darn right, it looks better!

  • @xXSOKkenrusXx You can take off the "hill", you know?

  • they're beautiful

  • @icanttailwhip thank you!

  • I have an M48, it's in great shape and I love it! =-)

  • @jmk0309 Great!

  • thanks for posting this video, people say m48's are k98's w/o knowing anything. Totaly different history and looks.

  • yes, they're different alright, the bolts won't even interchange with one another

  • Were you in the Military?

  • no I went through basic training in 1988 at law enforcement academy

  • Nice rifles, I have an old 1916 German Mauser 98a from WWI said to be the stepping stone for the K98.

  • just can't beat those mauser actions, they'll still be here after we're long gone

  • Five 5 Stars!!

  • soon as deer season is over I'll do some more bench-shooting, later this month

  • That would be great.

  • Nice guns. I like the K98K is better then the M48

  • right, that would be my choice also

  • I almost bought a M48 but It was not what I wanted. If I get a Yugo Mauser it would be the M24.

  • someone had it for sale on gunbroker, starting price 100 dollars , so I waited until it was almost over and bid the hundred, nobody else bid on it so I got it

  • Good deal. I wish I could bid on Gun Broker but I live in Commiefornia so they make it difficult in buying guns on-line.

2010 we got to get rid of the Gun Control scum in office or we will be in trouble.

  • GOOD LUCK Richard!

  • Good Luck to us all. We need to stay active and stand our ground. We must do this in honor of the founding fathers.
