  • this poor song, what have they done to it?

eddie you have to know less notes equals more song ;-)

  • Thus....the birth of the Van Hagar Era!!!!!

  • The day my favorite band turned vaginal.

  • like if you're watching the tapping at the end of the solo over and over...

  • The most sickest solo ever...

  • mannord downs what a long strange tripp its been I saw them just before this show in dallas and at this show farm aid rock on

  • 2:05 OH MY FUCKING GOD O.O !

  • ..oops..sorry Sammy fans...(correction) they both did!! ;)

  • This video is just so much fun..and truly shows what great showmen they are!!.. :) ..Sammy had just joined VH, I think they announced it that night or shortly before. Went to do the "Farm Aid" show, but realized the crowd was composed of largely country fans.. (lol)..love it!.. and..EVH, could rock any crowd!! ♥..and he did :)

  • Eddie looks happy to have a rhythum guitar player to jam with!

  • Had no Idea Van Halen ever covered this song! Wow.

  • @DetestProtest Check out Van Halen live without a net dvd rock n roll is the last song Van Halen plays it's an awesome show.

  • ti his is awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In his book, Sammy hates this performance. He says that Eddie was totally fucked up and the performance is very shoddy.

  • @themikeaustin Yeah, he sounds awful - totally fucked up. I should be so fucked up ... lol!

  • @themikeaustin Probably just jealous.

  • Anyone notice the infamous marshall plexi on stage?

  • Why the fuck are you guy commenting on this argument. Both guys make good points and I totally agree with them. It's sounds to me as though some people want their comments liked. . .

  • And while I am at it, check out Heart, Sheryl crow and Foo Fighters.Especially Foo Fighters with Jimmy and Jones. It is all good. Of course, one needs to be a rock fan to enjoy. Anyone who cannot enjoy different versions, well I feel sad for u. One must remember that all great rock comes from the interpreting of the blues..... Something born in America.... Jimmy Page, Erik Clampton, Keith Richards, and on and on will openly tell you where they learned their licks….

  • All music is good..... get a clue..............

  • @MASTEROFASSWIPE Dude seriously, wtf is your problem? I don't think i overstepped the line at all, you however did just then. If you took the time to read through the posts you would have realised that i didn't rant as much as you've implied. Now i don't know what your problem is, and i don't care. Do me a favour and actually read the material before offering your opinion.

  • @MASTEROFASSWIPE 10 words or less is your policy> because you do not KNOW more than 10 words. At least in English>>>> FOREIGNER! Heh. Ohh, you live In CA. Yeah? Well news flash. You aren't the only one SADLY. This state is for the effeminate>socialists and the most simple human beings I have EVER met. Simple MINDED that is. A complete waste of good weather and nice land. Maybe we SHOULD let our neighbors to the south have it. You all have screwed it up with your yuppie liberal BS, FREAK

  • Respond to this video... rant rant RANT

  • why are conseratives a bunch of freeloaders?

because they like to live off of hard working liberals!

  • @MASTEROFASSWIPE Just shut your hole DUDE! Putz

  • DUDE!!!!! I WAS THERE!!! Still remember it. Thanks for posting it.

  • Ah, the cheap guitarist. Took TWO to replace Jimmy. Pagey was SOO much better than EDDIE ever WILL be. No taste. His early work was his best. Then he went commercial. Sammy was better with Ronnie, Montrose that is. This is the WORST guitar solo ever. Nothing to do with Rock and Roll. More like speed, no taste. Chops are #1 but without taste it is MALMSTEEN YEECHHHH!. Oh to you disagreeing, your opinion NEVER did count. You are no nothings talking to a REAL musician.

  • @ghfakar

Keep practicing "Smoke on the Water" on your beat-up, out-of-tune, pawnshop guitar in your parents' basement, and quit ripping on prople who are way more successful than you will ever be.

  • @Rezqewr Yeah, well problem is moron, no basement, little TOO old to play in the PARENTS basement. And you know NOTHING about WHO I am OR my success. And while I will NOT claim to be as successful as Van Halen or even close to it, I have success you know nothing about. I will not explain further you are a dumb shit and didn't read the post. I am not in to what the "people" think about music. It means nothing I am a REAL musician, not an opinion poll. Now leave me alone you little ass wipe BITCH

  • @ghfakar

Which band(s) have you played/recorded with? I'd love to heatr just how "great" you are. . .

FYI, I've had the pleasure of having seen Page, Van Halen, and Hagar live, and to be honest with you, I found Page to be a disappointment.

Oh by the way, swearing at me shows a true lack of character, and overall weakness.

  • @Rezqewr Yeah, that means I am weak. Did you notice I said LEAVE ME ALONE? Or are you just a fucking idiot? Problems READING? Maybe comprehension? Now fuck off and leave me alone. I am not interested in proving ANYTHING to a nobody such as yourself. I NEVER answer a challenge UNLESS there is something in it for me. Like you eat a steaming hot bowl of shit after I prove it. But that won't happen, I don't know you and I do NOT WANT to know you. Got it yet you liberal bitch? Liberals suck me.

  • @ghfakar

Another intelligent comment. Did you lie awake all night thinking that one up?

  • @Rezqewr Yeah, I am really stupid. I know. You are the great mind of our time. Now will you please leave me alone? Keyboard Commando? Uh, What the hell is that? You don't know ANYTHING about me. And by the way I play multiple instruments. But I DO NOT use auto play on any. I play EVERY note, twice as fast as the average guitar player WITHOUT mistakes. I play Classical with distortion. Think what you will> what is with you guys on youtube? You think you know everyone? Geez! Get a life.

  • @ghfakar

Another intelligent comment. Did you lie awake all night thinking that one up? Gotta' love you keyboard commadoes. . .

  • @Rezqewr Interesting post. I saw Page, Jeff Beck, and Clapton - jeez, ages ago - when they were doing the benefit tour for Ronnie Lane, who, I believe, had contracted MS. Clapton was terrific, Beck was unbeliveable, and, yes, Page was disappointing ...

  • @ghfakar Wow...look no offense, but a REAL musician would realise that EVH is a totally different guitarist to Page, EVH can't play like Page and Page sure as hell can't play like EVH. Not quite into EVH myself, but a REAL musician wouldn't talk shit like that....i usually don't comment on these video's, but i feel parts of your comment were just uncalled for and dare i say plain ignorant. A REAL musician respects music in whatever form, they don't rant about what they don't prefer.

  • @karmicdirt I NEVER said I like or dislike ANYONE because of music STYLE. I SAID actually, not here but on other posts, that I think the very BEST musicians are in classical. This is NOT arguable except by those like yourself who are obviously NOT musicians. I do NOT own even ONE classical CD>record>tape etc. But I HAVE listened to them with envy. As a mainly Rock and Jazz style musician I thiink that makes my opinion obviously WITHOUT holes. IT is NOT opinion. Just sound fact. I will clarify>

  • @karmicdirt In Rock, Rap, Disco ETC> popularity does NOT equate talent. What do I mean? I have met a couple of young women in a church that can sing exactly like Madonna, but with FAR more range and all in all much better singing talent. However, the fact that they do NOT have the look would negate them making it as big. They would NOT be willing to do anything to succeed like Madonna did, therefore they wouldn't make it in the same way. Another words, in popular music image is 65% CONT>

  • @karmicdirt 10% talent and about 25% who you know. Well,, I may change that and say 50% image and 40% who you know. But the point is, talent has little to do with it. Ever heard of Johnny Cash? Many of these rock acts WISH they were as popular. Now The man could NOT hardly carry a tune. A terrible singer. But Even though I and many others are rock musicians, I actually liked much of his music. It was pleasant and relaxing for me. Classical is the Olympics of music. Either you got it or you dont

  • @karmicdirt Now I am sorry for such a long explanation, but short and sweet isn't my thing. I am not talented in that area, wish I were. Does any of that make sense? I am interested in knowing whether I made ANY sense at all!! Well, no offense taken. Usually I do because I am just a contrary kind of guy. I like a fight and love to pound on people. It is a character flaw. I know. I am trying to change. Maybe years of being pounded on when I was peaceful had an affect. No excuse

  • @ghfakar You've made your point, and to be honest i DO in fact agree with a lot of it, but i think it's a bit premature to then accuse me of NOT being a musician. It's true that right now i play rock music, but it might surprise you to find out that i'm in fact a classical guitarist and classical singer. I can play many other instruments, but just not to that standard. [cont]

  • @ghfakar My opinion differ's in that i don't see classical (lets use the colloquial sense as opposed to the period, so "traditional") as the only real kind of music, that being said your view on that isn't outrageous, it's one of those one way or the other, so i respect that, no sense in arguing that. Oh and i agree popularity doesn't equate talent, thats definitely something we can agree on.

  • @karmicdirt Please. I did NOT say classical is the ONLY kind of music. Not in the true sense. I meant it is the most difficult of all to master. I know,. I have played almost every style, except Rap/disco>shit. I hate them as they are not even melodic. Yeah, I know some have done it well , but i am not into the modern UNTALENTED talent. The American idol shit doesn't impress me. But please, by all means, don't use words like Colloquial to impress. I meant style not period. That was obvious.

  • @ghfakar Classical is NOT a style, it WAS a period, i was just saving the hassle for other people who were going to read this, the colloquial term "classical" can refer to pretty much anything written before 1900, or stuff that was written for traditional instruments in usually, but not restricted to, orchestral environments. I wasn't having a go at you, i was making a clarification.

  • @karmicdirt The point of most of my posts are> I am sick and tired of the popular= great standard. The beatles are one of my BEST examples. Barely even able to play their instruments in a professional way> maybe McArtney on bass> that fact really was obvious to any real musician. Even Eric Clapton once commented on how surprised he was on their level of ability. He should have known. I did. I can hear it. Now I am not saying they couldn't write well, or sing, just they were NOT great musicians >

  • @ghfakar Pretty much agree with the rest of it. The beatles are a hard one though, i agree that they weren't the best musicians in the world by any standard, but they were great song writers, but that all depends on where you draw the line between musician/performer and musician/composer, i haven't really made a decision there myself yet.

  • @karmicdirt Uh on the earlier post, classical is NOT a period. That is just music school nonsense like most of the "higher Learning" taught in colleges. No offense meant, but most of that is blather from a guy who cannot either play an instrument(not you I am talking about) or just the same accepted silliness that got its start long ago with uppity clowns who know NOTHING about actual music, just books. Just because Bach or Beethoven said it, does NOT make it true. They had CONTINUED

  • @karmicdirt they had material that was questionable in my opinion. I don't consider all their material "genius". Just like Led Zepplin, one of my favorite rock band, had material that was sub standard in my opinion. Classical is actually being written at this point. Though it was a period, the style. of music is still considered a genre, not just a period. Also, I had said that the beatles could write AND sing well. That is obvious. But after they started the eastern mystic crap they stunk.

  • @karmicdirt When it comes to what people like however, that is an entirely different story. That is here there and everywhere. Being talented does not equal popular. I met young kids who could run circles around me in some ways. They didn't have my experience yet, but were obviously prodigies. If they stuck to practice they must be like Liberace or Van Cliburn by now!< Still know little about him, but my 2nd teacher gave me an article and used his life to encourage me. He told me that

  • @karmicdirt He told me to stick with it and practice constantly. He was correct. If I had only managed the "constantly" part. More like consistently. No one can say who is the best anything. And it probably changes now and then. Can you imagine how many undiscovered musicians there are in this world? And they may set the "Best" on their ear! Just like fist fighting, there is always someone who can defeat you! Sad. I always desired to be the best! :( > > :) Oh well, I will try to be MY best!

  • @karmicdirt They were NOT great musicians as touted by so many. Just popular. Liberace was a great musician> Weird as hell, but great. I don't know ANY of his music, but having watched him in old films more than once, I decided I would NEVER be his equal on a keyboard. However,I can say with full confidence that though I am totally unknown, I can out play many popular keyboardists and stay with some of the best in rock. So what? If you can do it, it is not bragging. I can. So far. Hopefully

  • @karmicdirt Hopefully I will someday get my chance to prove myself. It has been over 40 years and I have blown numerous chances sometimes for good reasons, but mostly for idiotic reasons. I would have probably been making my living as at least a studio musician. Maybe local, but I would have been better. The fact that I would have been forced to play many styles/genres would have pushed me harder. I have given up many times. That is the only way to fail. Well, That is my problem. My fault

  • @karmicdirt I can say without feeling sorry for myself or doubting, that musically I am a loser. Not because I cannot do what I say> But because I DIDN'T. When you get a chance, take it. As long as it is a reasonable chance it should be at least investigated. I kept on waiting until I got MY way. I realize now that doesn't happen for anyone except a true Prodigy> maybe. The people who promote music run it. NOT the musicians. IT shouldn't be that way but> $ are $ and follow the money.

  • @ghfakar What a great piece of advice which rings true in all fields/aspects of life, "When you get the chance, take it". We all are on journey so go for the gusto!! Most of the time it is not ourselves that open doorways, other people open them for us so choose wisely!

  • eddie's solo on this is one of my all time favorites, just killer

  • Wow. led zeppelin with a touch of ed. i think i just shit myself..

  • That was DOOFUSS McDUMBSHIT

  • I love Van Halen... but Eddie's fills kind of ruin this for me...

  • Man... I don't give a s**t if lightning strikes me dead: Edward Van Halen absolutely IS the Jimi Hendrix of his generation.

  • The greatest Guiterrist

  • Eddie was just on fire at that age. It just poured out of him. We don't see that very often anymore.

  • 1-800- FarmAid, I wonder if there still Getting donations

  • sammy had committed to this show b4 the vh thing came along. he flew his old band in and gave them bonuses as a way of saying goodbye. he and eddie had not collaborated on anything yet so this was just jamming. sammy talks about this in his autobio, RED.

  • man, im 13 and sammy hagar was my first concert and i was front row and i shook his hand on stage and got my shirt signed and this was a couple years ago. the things that sucks is how all my friends listen to this shitty rap music. man i wish i woulda been born about 30 years ago.

  • Also Justin Bieber saw talent so she disliked this 28 times

  • 1:44 douchebag wants in the shot so baad

  • @ADHDadditiv - Playing his stupid Steinberger bass. Assface. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • kinda feel bad for liking this version better than Zep's, o well

  • Lotsa guitarists tap now.... but I will always give credit to Eddie Van Halen for really bringing it to the next level and giving me a shiver down my back when he did!

Eddie's signature tapping in a Led Zeppelin cover solo sounds soooo NICE!!!!! Really a great tribute to Jimmy Page too!

    LauraUSA

  • Van Halen absolutly ruins this song!! All flash and absolutly no substance! Hagar should've done this wout him.

  • Is that Bryan Adams playing bass in the background?

  • Sammy & Eddie back in the day...grins and smiles....jam'n out an epic Led Zeppelin classic...this is what i luv about rock and roll even as I wipe away tears in memory of an astounding rock drummer I miss so very much....John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham;;;1948 - 1980.

    LaurasUSA

  • "So how are you kids liking your music television?"

  • i must say your right he does look like Olivia newton john. Why did he want to look like that? I mean eddie is a humble guy. He's a one of a kind talent. But he's not stuck on himself. Both Roth and Hagar can't get enough of themselves. And i keep crackin up when i see "HillBilly Church" walking in and out like he's got a shot gun. Almost as if he's not even plugged in. And i don't know what looks worse. Sammy's odd shaped hack guitar or that "Stick Bass"

  • 2:00 bonafide magic, baby.

  • @hummarstra You got that right. It's fkn perfect and how I'll always remember Eddie. You can tell Sammy was just like, "Oh damn, that was the shit right there" - big smile on his face. I remember seeing this live on TV and MTV playing it over and over. It was like my 2 favorite guitar / music gods just jizzed mana from heaven in my ears.

  • According to Sammy's book, he'd committed to Farm Aid before joining Van Halen. arm Aid was where they announced he was joining and their 1st public appearance. They didn't even have "Summer Nights", "Why Can''t This Be Love" or "Love Walks In" ready yet. And yeah, Sammy deserves everything he's gotten. He was using the headset mic YEARS before Garth Brooks. He was the 1st to take down the backdrop behind the band, seat fans back there and play to them, making the arenas bigger. Arena rock king.

  • Was this before Sam joined Van Halen?

  • buenisssimoooooooooooooooo!!!

  • Who is that Lug Nut Dumb Ass on the Bass walking in and out of the picture like a hot dog salesman who got lost.?

  • @MrAgitator Bill Church from Montrose and Sammy's solo band.

  • @MrAgitator That is Bill Church..Sammy's longtime bass player..and he was and still is awesome. Sorry he annoys you..

  • @msinthrop Swear to God - I posted my reply to this guy before I saw yours ... glad you had the same thought. Sam had a great band when he had Bill on bass, Denny Carmasi on drums (before he joined Heart) and Gary Pihl on guitar (before he joined Boston). But ... that was a long time ago!

  • @MrAgitator Hey, Dude - that's Bill Church - Sammy's long-time bass player. Played for Montrose with Sammy - and definitely has some chops!

  • Sammy should get together with Ted Nuggent and make a band

  • i went to a sammy hagar concert friday night. he fucking blew my mind! Great show And it was free to the public! Thank you Sammy! The Red Rocker Rules!

  • During this point in time Sammy was going through his Olivia Newton John look phase.

  • While I never liked Sammy and Eddie together....this was pure fucking greatness.

  • God love Sammy Hagar.. what an inspirational story..what a businessman..what an idol!!! God help Eddy Van Halen. His disease is robbing the world of his talent..bastard.. grow up.

  • I Wish The Right People would Post The Rest of Eddies solo that Nite,..2: 50-3:04 is Only 14 secs Of What i a-sure you is a Great Version of Eruption!!,..Anyone Else understand?? or Agree??,...

  • If I Listen to Van Halen I listen to Sammy, And Viseversa.

  • How the fuck does Sammy Hagar jump around like that, play the guitar, and sing all at the same time? You have to admit that's pretty impressive.

  • @irarawkstarr How does Sammy gay up everything all the time and still hold a following?

  • Anyone who prefers Van Hagar over the REAL Van Halen is clueless. Look at Ed here...he lost all of his real angst. His music with Roth will always be the best. Looking back, this was the start of the the plastc Van Halen. I'm so glad Ed andDave are back making a new album.

  • @ApeLikeCreature I like Van Halen with Sammy better. But Dave puts on a great show and is the original singer. Both are great. Sammy is a better singer, Roth is a better showman :)

  • Sammy and Eddie had great on stage Chemistry to bad they can't work things out. they created some real good music.

  • Eddie during the solo makes it look so easy. Even when he's missing the notes it sounds good!

  • essa era a época de sammy e eddy...

  • Stil one of the best versions of the song I have ever heard.

  • It's brilliant that Eddie Van Halen played guitar well with both David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar through the years. There's end less comments over the years preference wise over Roth and Hagar, I think Eddie and band with Sammy got along musically way better. This is another video that proves that. A lot of great singles from Van Halen came out with both singers though. I have no complaints.

  • @aaa567ify yeah! it's ALL good!

  • eddie has been doing the exact same tricks for over 20 some years....i'm over it!

  • sammy sucks roth rules!

  • @serafinfigari Roth was a badass dude, but there's no denying Sammy had a better SINGING voice than Roth . . . Don't get me wrong, I was a Roth head forever, but i can't sit here and deny Sammy the credit he deserves. Van Halen was just as badass as they were with Sammy as they were with Roth.

  • scratch that, written in error

  • Bill church took this video

  • @AtticaNY1 Although, I guess some broke ass criminal has time to "know" this stuff without having a good source.

  • @AtticaNY1 Where is your source for their net worths? Id love to check it out

  • @psuengineer84 Sammy just did an interview a few weeks back on Howard Stern and told him that he sold 80% of Cabo Wabo for 80 million dollars. The interview is in 4 or 5 parts here in YouTube.

  • @AtticaNY1 They are both worth 10's of millions of dollars. The difference is negligible.

  • great music.

  • the energy of the excitment of looking forward to playing together early in a musical relationship is the best.

  • Haha watch at 1:07 Eddie tells the country-playing bassist to liven up.

  • @Candystripedshredder I'm pretty sure Eddie was just trying to get some slack in his cord (he's not wireless). Unless I'm mistaken, the bass player is Bill Church, who'd been with Sammy for years.

  • @Candystripedshredder That's Sammy Hagar's bass player.

  • Sammy Hagar's first gig with Eddie Van Halen. I'm very impressed with how well he controls the stage.

  • It's to bad Eddie and sammy can't work things out They had great chemistry opn stage. and created great music.

  • Roth was better as an entertainer, but as a pure rock singer I give it to Sammy.

  • @Paul8820 - what is it with roth as an entertainer???! he was clearly a flaming queer., what is it with u people????!

  • Back when MTV had class.

  • Sammy's Personal Quote: - Personal Quotes

I want to play with people I enjoy and like. I'm going to surround myself with friends and have fun. Rock n' roll stinks without fun. You might as well have a real job.

dont need to say nothin' more.........

  • Why does Jimi Page contact Sammy Hagar now.....Hey Sam front our band named Led Zeppelin.

  • england england

    rip off

  • Little bro learning guitar. Told him to teach me how to play eruption when he figures it out. haha he isnt half bad ill give him that much

  • damn good times...good times....i hope eddie now has a happier disposition nowadays

  • the best thing about eddie van halen is how happy he looks when he plays. always smiling and i think thats the best thing about playing the guitar. Have fun with it! :)

  • AWESOME absolutely AWESOME STUFF!

  • C'mon Sammy, use that floyd rose!!

  • this is so indicative of the demise of Van Halen. I just listened to Eddie playing R&R Hoochie Coo in the mid 70's, and his style was so much cooler. By 1985 he had become a parody of himself. He did that quick down the neck solo thing(the first part of his solo break here), and WAY over tapping & wammy. He lost the bluesy -ness in his playing. Add Sam to the mix, it was in hind sight the end of VH. The version was terrible. and I love EVH.

  • Ed's best solo ever! tremolo bar magic.

  • Sammy Hagar is a Douche Bag!...Sam is a Loser!.....No More Vanhalen for u Sammy...hehehehe...HAVE FUN PLAYING CASINO'S HAGAR CUZ U DONE DUDE!...OH CHICKENDICK SUCKS!..... 'DAVID LEE ROTH' AND 'ED VH' RULE THE ROCK WORLD!....ROTH ALWAYS RULZ!

  • @shutupmutherfucker LOL...hagar must have really hit a nerve when him and van halen did so well compared to daves (ahem) solo career.its been 15 years since sammy has been a full time member....let it go.BTW if selling a company for $80 million and rocking for 40+ years makes you a loser then sign me up,roth logic is silly.

  • Eddie's "Frankenstrat"....Sammy's "Dean"...jam'n out a classic Led Zeppelin tune with smiles & grins show'n the fun they are hav'n! I may be old school but this is what rock & roll is really all about!

  • @lauratwo16 Righteous! but can I just say as a Nerd its the 5150 Kramer :P haha but otherwise yeah rock n roll!

  • Eddie the best nuff said

  • its america, and i want to do it.

  • @theratfarmer ... Oh yea... a great continent from Argentina to Canada... he,he,he...

  • Eddie wrote the music, Dave - lyrics. FYI

  • BEST COVER EVER

  • led zep is for stupid chix trying to impressed guyz by saying : hey im listening to rock :) :) :) haha just a joke, i respect ledzep

  • If they didn't wear yellow and stonewash they would be cool...

  • wow the 80s were gay good song and cover though

  • Van Halen never had the mile wide and deep bass and drums that made for true heavy metal, regardless of singer

  • God why does everyone have to keep comparing Dave an Sammy. They are both legends, they both sold millions of records, they both brought attitute and style to VH, and each had their battles with Ed. I liked them both. The sad part is that no matter who fronts Halen these days, they'll never be as big or sell as many records as they did back in the day because nobody is listening to this kinda music these days. Just enjoy the old stuff and appreciate it for the awesome music it is.

  • this is a shit , to call this van halen david lee roth must be in the vocals

  • Hagar = Cheese

  • Sammy Hagar can rock so much harder and better than Roth!

  • This was /is the best.

Recorded it live on a VCR as big as the coffee table and someone stole the tape.

    Go figure/rock and roll!!!

    Been a long time!

  • For the record I love the old music..Rock from the 60's/70's, got a neg comment that I do not. Watching the old Zepp videos makes me wish I had a time machine. My previous point was bands, performers etc, have not mastered music, dont play a guitar, drums, or anything. They just put on some dopey outfit lip sinc. And thousands of morons buy it.

  • eddie was ahead of fashion. todays styles. 1985. ripped jeans ftw

  • I don't care. it's America and I wanna do it! lol classic.

  • HAGAR HAS BEEN DOING THIS CONSTANTLY SINCE 1973!!!! THE REDROCKER IS THE KING!!!

  • Sammy is a big drunk now. I hope he doesnt give up rocking!!!

  • Wow you don't get a lot of live performances from a vocalist like this anymore

  • How could people not like Sammy's music??? Thats the whole reason why I wish I was back in the 80s. I remember rocking with my boom box down the high school hall's. I played quiet riot, metallica, bon jovi, heart, sammy, black sabbath, iron maiden, jimmy hendrix, boston, queen, dio ,white snake.

  • @caspercbo Love those songs too,,,,who is popular now? Laga fucking gaga! She is horrible with zero to no talent. Her face looks like my kitchen when the kids make pancakes. Back in the day you actually had to learn to master an instrament, these loser just master putting on makeup.

  • @nel21410mt Standards are low when it comes to music these days. Sad thing is that we live in a turbulent time, much like the 60s and 70s were turbulent. Difference is that the Vietnam era had Led Zepplin, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, and Jimmy Hendrix; The 2000/10s have Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Hannah Montana. Very very sad and tragic.

  • NO MAKE UP NO VACCINES JUST PURE SAMMY.

  • i just watched a special on this argument of hagar vs roth.....the facts say that VanHagar was more successful than VanRoth. Now as far as the music goes...Hagar wrote amazing melodies and was a musician...DLR is just a frontman. His ego didnt hold up to his actual vocal talents tho.

  • arguing about roth vs hagar is stupid when rap is the enemy here. lil wayne aint got shit on either one of them

  • @notjustadog your right there dude

  • damn sammy is an ugly mutha

in my opinion, DLR is MUCH BETTER than haggar, no joke about it

  • Aparte de hacer decaer a Van Halen.... TODAVIA SE JODE A LED ZEP!?!?!?

Eddie Van Halen MIS RESPETOS IDOLO!

  • Sammy is one of the best

  • if u like sammy see Montrose
