I do believe that MuscleNerd is full of shit. At the rate that other ports have been released(a Motorola Droid port was released today), the iPhone port should have already been released. This video means that Nerd made iphone to send commands through it's dock connector via USB to his Mac that reads them,interprets and shows which color the picture on iphone currently is.He shows that he is able to use the dock connector as he wants.Whats left to make is application that uses jailbraking algorithm via USB.Easy to say,harder to make..especialy when DevTeam is bussy of making 4.1 jailbreak...but i hope Nerd will release PS3Groove soon.

incase anyone doesn't understand what this video proves, the PS3 hack requires anything with a USB micro controller (most sophisticated electronics have one) to send a certain sequence of commands to the PS3 before it boots up. This video shows the iPhone sending the commands: "Blue! Green! Red!" to the computer meaning the iPhone is currently capable of sending commands via USB.

It looks like all it needs is the code sequence and some fine tuning.

@cow247 encase you dont understand the codes of every section of the ps3 are different and if someone somehow manages to hack the ps3 into getting free games which has not happened yet if that person ever goes online sony will fuck up ur hard drive corrupting everything the xbox was an extremely easy hack (i have both systems and i hacked my xbox) for me because microsoft is retarded the put the same game codes onto the xbox as a normal computer or pc.

If you wanna learn about the latest opensource development for the PS3 hack (which is what this video relates to) look up psgroove. A 3rd party group managed to create a jig-kick for the PS3 causing it to boot into developer mode with the execution of a few lines of code via USB. Musclenerd is currently porting this opensource jig-kick to execute the code from the iPhone to the PS3.

@Arian432 Also, xbox 360's weren't 'hacked' the way you seem to think they were. They aren't fully hacked, they just accept burned DVD's. The DVD drive was hacked, not the console itself.

Xbox 360 games aren't exactly the same format as with the PC. The common format which I think you're referring to is an ISO. An ISO is just a universal format that packages files to be burned to a disk. All disks use this. It was hacked because the DVD drive was dumped and reflashed with a new firmware.
